    "Sure, but what about Microsoft, or Adobe, or various other companies that make software? Won't this be competing directly with them? It's bad enough that they have to compete with FOSS as is, but FOSS supercharged with two billion government dollars?"

    Isn't capitalism supposed to be based on a free market economy? I'm sure that the government hires Adobe and Microsoft to work on software projects they don't readily talk about, doesn't that compete with FOSS software? Seems to me corporate America is all for the free market economy except when it's not to their favor.

    it's a completely unworkable plan. Five minutes after the student gets the Macbook he/she will have jailbroke it and will be posting how-tos on their myspace page.     I'd have to agree with this. Don't run into problems with Drupal, you won't find any answers in the documentation or forums. We had to end up using Community Server.

    Casual - someone who logs on after work or on the weekend, meets up with a couple of friends and has some fun.
    Hardcore - someone who doesn't log OFF, has an IV, a sitspoopy and is comfortable with doing a 12 hour Vex Thal or Plane of Growth raid.

    No it means that shitty games will sell fewer copies. If you have a good game, like Morrowwind: Oblivion, for example, it'll fly off the shelves.

    Actually, most door locks provide you with the ILLUSION of pretty good protection from thieves. Just look at the combination lock, it can be cracked open with a bic pen top. They sell the sizzle, not the steak, and I think that's what the point of the article was.
