The funny thing is that you can get a faster CPU that uses less electricty and puts out less heat resulting in a quieter system. You just need to do a little research.. I don't know what the specs for this new CPU, but I would guess it probably doesn't fit that bill.
Well, you really should buy the $1000 Sony Blu Ray DVD player for movies because it will be so much better. So $1600 for the Sony package or you could pay $249 for the Wii, $399 for the Xbox 360, $499 for HD-DVD player, $350 for a low-end computer and have money left over.
The OP stated that all packages searched were legal, so the dogs are not clued to anything special about "pirated" DVD's.
Everyone keeps mentioning burned DVD's, but they're going after piracy rings. That means a large shipment of manufactured DVD's, not some burned DVD's with the title written by a Sharpie.
Team AI and communication is a great addition, some games are getting better at this. If a bot is able to see or hear me, call for reinforcements and work together to kill me. Coordination between the bots makes an average bot a lot harder to kill. A near dead bot falling back while its teammates move forward would also help.
Well then set down your "paddle" and tell your CONSOLE to get off the internet and stop playing media. Console game systems evolve. I can get a keyboard for the Dreamcast, PS, PS2, and XBox. You can buy DDR pads, guitars, joysticks, etc. for console systems. What's so bad about a keyboad and mouse? I feel they are a better controller for FPS and RTS games that have made their way to the Console.
Your logic isn't necessarily correct. Since you would be able to turn on the encryption later, shouldn't you be able to set the key at first boot? Though I'm sure you're correct about the default being off.
The first question that always pops into my head with an electric car is what do I do when I'm away from home and low on charge. The second is how long do I have to sit there if I do run out of juice, but can recharge.
Bill Gates: Your Internet ad was brought to my attention, but I can't figure out what, if anything, Compuglobalhypermeganet does, so rather than risk competing with you, I've decided simply to buy you out.
Homer: I reluctantly accept your proposal!
Bill Gates: Well everyone always does. Buy 'em out, boys!
[Gates' lackeys trash the room.]
Homer: Hey, what the hell's going on!
Bill Gates: Oh, I didn't get rich by writing a lot of checks!
Here's my armchair perspective of how 3DR should proceed:
1. Release some crappy DNF game. 2. Accept ridicule and blame. 3. Quickly make a decent game based on a new engine. 4. Release new game without overhyped promises.
You don't need to reinvent the world to put out a good and profitable game. RTCW comes to mind.
I look at the first couple of pages and then occasionally click on page 10 to see if there's a significant change in later results for the better or a unique link. Like most, if I don't find it right away I change my keywords.
I'll click on a google sponsored link if it's relevant, but there's a lot of useless link to ebay, shopzilla, etc.
First off, I love Baen books too. With that out of the way, I'm a halfway adopter of ebooks. Since I'm tied to a computer desk at work and kicking back with a paper book is highly frowned upon, I read ebooks at work. Away from work, ebooks lose their appeal. Most ebook readers suck. Small screens, glare, etc. My highest hopes were put upon E-Ink based products like the Sony Librie. Skipping the lack of US availability, it came down to price. The last time I looked, it would cost me over $400 to get a Librie. That's without books! That's easily a paperback a week for a year. Get that down to $50 or at least under $100 and I might pick one up.
I was going to suggest Anandtech too, but for the CPU/GPU scaling. Here's an example URL:http://www.anandtech.com/cpuchipsets/showdoc.a spx?i=2330&p=6.
As for RAM, you can run tests or pretty much jump up to 2GB if you're running games like BF2.
I was going to comment about the quality of movies now, but then I thought back and realized that the quality of movies has stayed roughly the same. There are a lot of bad movies now, but there's always been a lot of bad movies. I really think it's just the general movement away from public events and the availability of home entertainment.
The main reason is that you're not always sitting in the sweet spot. I was watching a movie with a large group of friends. I ended sitting so the voices were coming from a different direction than the television. While a lot of movies don't require surround sound, I definitely prefer to have a center channel for situations like that.

Can the PS3 use a keyboard and mouse? I know the XBox360 can't.

Time to get rid of my MP3's, CD's, DVD's and go back to tape because tape is a word, not an acronym.

Exactly! Who do they think they are? Apple?
I'll see links in various Apple and Microsoft formats and click on them. If it's in a Real format, I usually just leave.
you would know that
Modem refers to the actual computer
Computer refers to the monitor

"10 Best Security Live CD Distros (Pen-Test, Forensics & Recovery)"
The BSD's are not Live CD Distros used for penetration-testing, forensics, or recovery.

So if I'm paying tax to content providers on blank hard drives and cds, why shouldn't I be able to download anything I want from the internet.
I already paid for it.
In other news, Microsoft scraps their old advisory system and implements levels similar to Homeland Security Advisory System.
