Actually, when sober I tend to develop symptoms of ADD, which I've shown since elementary school.
I find smoking relaxes me, and I tend to be able to focus and work better.
I've actually had managers encourage me to "light one up" before work, and have teachers tell me how much better, and how much faster I work when high.
In fact, I'm high now.;o)
and to stay (somewhat) on topic:
i think we will have to come to accept the fact that at one point, we need to part with our hardware. Imagine a car, an icebox, or a washing machine. Nothing has an infinate life span.
My RS-80 still works like a charm though, and no...you can't have it;o)

like one poster already said, bus speeds don't ramp up overnight.
but what really gets me....
way hot?
maybe you are thinking of your 400mhz k6-2/3;oP
intel is just as hot, if not hottor (i know someone will post the numbers)
and move to a new architecture...why?
they committed to the socket a, which I see as a Good Thing, as it provides a decent upgrade path for users. Unlike Intel...who knows whats coming next...maybe we'll see a hex-shaped socket;oP
Not to say they *should* stick with that socket architecture forever, gotta move on when it's slowing you down.
Go look at some benchmarks, I don't think it's really slowing AMD down.
As an aside...how many over-clockers are out there already running at 400+ mhz FSB?
actually, i was thinking...as traffic increased to the sites, through the subscribers hits, wouldn't the tend to be more lickely cached by other people as well, and other sites, such as google?
Paying that much for basically non-stop advertising, and non-stop channel switching.
Television just isn't all it's cracked up to be.
Even most news anymore hits the web before you see it on TV. I can watch my movies, see the few shows I like (simpson's, anyone?) and enjoy my music. For me, a TV is just an added, unecessary expense.
"My main concern, same with the P800, is the unpopular OS - in US terms. I hope software support for Linux and Symbian accelerates so we can get past these hangups. "
Hangups...did he get disconnected a lot on calls?
But seriously...How can he say the US is unfriendly to Linux?
Maybe he hasn't heard of IBM?
and if he wants better software support, maybe he should learn to code;oP
ahh....so if you pay...
;oP
does that still make you a karma whore?
thnx for the link/mirror.
no root.
problem solved...
um
maybe so you can watch those divx rips on a tv instead of your computer.
and why buy something you can build?
for the simple reason of NOT having to build it.
we all find humor in the above ;o)
Why, so we get a week of dupes when they come back?
heh
What I wonder, isn't this wh the subscribers get to see the stories early? seems like there's a failure here somewhere.
maybe if a certain number of subscribers vote the post as a dupe, it gets pulled...?
aw, cmon.
you're a geek...you smell just like every other geek out there...
The funny thing is...
;o)
;o)
(I've tested this too)
I actually retain things much better when stoned.

Maybe not mirroring a complete page - images and whatnot can be left out..but copy the text..please?
and im sure if one asked permission to copy the text...most places would appreciate not recieving a

but it does exist.
you and parent poster make a very valid point.

A 90% loss over 2.5 years...122 million...
thats only 50 million a year...
wish i could throw away money like that

at lot of the scenes in this second one, remind me of some of the animated scenes from pink floyd's "the wall"
same sense of visual style...
Yea, quit your bitchin' and get over and ./ er...look at the pretty pictures ;o)

Let the linut zealot vs. m$ zealot postings commence!
and to them I say...
Someone's boxen is only as secure as their updates go...Not all m$ boxes are as secure as linux boxes and vice versa. End it there.
oh...read the article too...it's not even about m$
sorry, not a big football fan..i normally work during the superbowl anyway

What are these TV's that you speak of?
;o)
All I know of is what's in front of me now
But seriously...I never really watch TV, ever.
I don't even have cable, and could care less.

guns dont't kill people...people kill people
he could have easily murdered w/o a gun
don't worry, it's been subject to the ./ effect anyway...the poster just saved everyone the trouble of repeatedly hitting reload... ;o)
