There are no other products that offer this solution so people including myself suffer through unoptimized buggy garbage code because there is NOTHING ELSE.

If Google is distributing Android on phones and pushing it as the next OS for everything... Why aren't they offering ChromeCasts with full and rootable Android.. now I will give them the root but Full Android is available on other devices and it makes them so much better. I got a Android 4.4 stick at a discount retailer for $14 and I have a Android Box on my bedroom TV.. both of them give me the full Android Features unfortunately the Stick didn't come with Google Play Store so im pretty much screwed on that but I can install apps from other places including Kodi.TV which is a good option for streaming from my network drive to my TV..

I suggest that if you have cabletv now that you use your computer to DVR all the content you can then you have local content to watch.. if you have an antenna dvr off the antenna.. compile a archive of shows then suplement that with free online resources that do not come from illegal sources...
If your kid is torrenting and you lose your broadband you are screwed.. you could end up needing to move because most parts of the USA only have one broadband provider in any location... Don't Do Torrents or File Servers.. bad news...

That means I will be forced to run a deprecated OS if I want to continue to watch the content I recorded for my personal use.
The CopyOnce tag that is now in most of my Cable TV channel signals will now limit me from recording shows I can't watch live or want to save to rewatch.
Between Windows 10 and Comcast locking up even stations like SyFy, Comedy Central, Bravo, USA, AMC, Spike and many others with CopyOnce protection there is no way to use a CableCard Ceton Tuner or SiliconDust and another device like a Android or Roku to get TV signal that is CopyOnce protected to your television and you can completely forget Recording it for later.
So basically CopyOnce and the problems with MediaCenter and Other Software means everyone who wants to take advantage of the FCC Regulation that allows / Forces Cable Companies to allow customers to buy a CableCard tuner and not rent one... that is over... or you can use a deprecated OS to connect your Xbox or something to your tv...
This means I am locked into Comcast's DVRs which are extremely expensive for me to afford.. I do not own any because of that.
and I will have lost a couple years worth of shows I have recorded.. many that are no longer broadcast on TV even in Reruns...
Additionally The Simpsons has just announced that they will no longer distribute on DVD

You can connect to Local USB Drives or shares over a network.. You can install a Cloud Storage App or just use Google's...

However this is not the case so far as explained........ now to the other point.. there are a lot of bad people out there and not all of them are cops. If you read statistics from the FBI you will see that African Americans commit 7 murders for each murder committed by a white however African Americans are only 12.5% of the population so if you extrapolate the statistics so both whites and blacks were the same percentage of America then black people would be committing in the area of 28 murders for every murder committed by a white person. Those are insane statistics but they hold up. and the acts of violence are much greater. To say there is no problem in the African American community is ignoring the problem. When acts of violence from African Americans on other groups... white, latino, asian are so extremely high then it can be said that society as a whole needs to address why African Americans are committing crimes at such a disproportionate rate and level... Its not just people smoking weed its rape and assault and theft and murder... and it is one group.. Look if people die theres a body.. theres a weapon and there is a criminal.. to deny who is committing these acts is as bad as denying anything else that results in death and destruction... It is unfortunate that our leaders don't understand the teaching of genghis khan when dealing with these people... he was the only one who could protect his people.. that is until after his death one of his children took over the leadership of the Mongolians and became muslim and then the Mongolians were conquered. This has happened in the West because of immigration. Our governments are not lead by kings anymore they are elected. Most often those changes are negative in promotion of a health and well being but that is not to say that small numbers of people can't be helped by products like anti psychotics.. keep this in mind the next time you have a drink to combat the harsh world out there.. or pop a pill to substitute one addiction for another... or smoke some weed because you just don't want to give a ##### for a while.. because its changing you for the worse.

I agree.. the person who found the holes was smart enough to find them.. but they were not smart enough to keep them a secret until they were fixed. Everyone knows how fast things can move and that you can never erase a post from the internet.. as soon as he posted it.. the content was probably republished from a RSS Feed or a Scraper to 100 other sites... the next time they will know .. find a bug then keep it secret.. its the honest thing to do.. and then he will get paid next time. we all learn things the hard way sometimes. it should be nothing less than individual channel a la carte ... and there should be competition on broadband so other network providers can connect to the last mile and provide services .. whether its google, verizon, level3 or someone else they should be able to rent the last mile and provide network access to home owners just like you can get electricity from solar companies on the other side of the country... .... how many other acts of violence and murder can you view on YouTube? what percentage of them are white on black? what percentage are cop on civilian? In this latest shooting incident where a policeman is shown in a video shooting a fleeing suspect in the back .. no one can say that is an honest thing to do. Even if that man had committed a crime you don't shoot a suspect in the back when they run away. you call for a helecoptor and the entire force hunts him down. ... The exception would be if the criminal was armed.. if he had taken the officers gun and the officer had to use a backup then it would be reasonable to stop him with deadly force. However this is not the case so far as explained. .... ... now to the other point .. there are a lot of bad people out there and not all of them are cops. If you read statistics from the FBI you will see that African Americans commit 7 murders for each murder committed by a white however African Americans are only 12.5% of the population so if you extrapolate the statistics so both whites and blacks were the same percentage of America then black people would be committing in the area of 28 murders for every murder committed by a white person. Those are insane statistics but they hold up. and the acts of violence are much greater. To say there is no problem in the African American community is ignoring the problem. When acts of violence from African Americans on other groups... white, latino, asian are so extremely high then it can be said that society as a whole needs to address why African Americans are committing crimes at such a disproportionate rate and level... Its not just people smoking weed its rape and assault and theft and murder... and it is one group.. Look if people die theres a body.. theres a weapon and there is a criminal.. to deny who is committing these acts is as bad as denying anything else that results in death and destruction... I agree bad cops are criminals and nothing less. They are often criminals who join the force with a reason and hide their motive until they get out on the street .. they extort rape and murder and we all saw the movie serpico.. on the other hand cops aren't killing 1000 people a day in this country and that is the average body count. Thirty people can die in Chicago on an average weekend many more when things get bad but its not just Chicago its every small town in america.. most of it has to do with drugs.. the heroin trade.. drugs that come in from our enemies in Afghanistan.. It needs to end and we cant ignore the thousands who die every year just because a few criminals are given badges... if the cops all went away tomorrow.. there would still be a heroin addict in your neighborhood because they are in every neighborhood now.. whether its powder or Oxycontin its all the same... so does this cop deserve the death penalty .. sure.. but so do all the other people that commit murder...

I have absolutely no problem with forfeiture under the right situations. I think it would be a great way to institute self deportation if the feds took all the possessions of anyone here illegally whether they are a wall street banker who overstayed a visa .. or a tech employee working in silicon valley or if they work in the fields picking lettuce of which only 5% of migrants work in agriculture so the fools that think they are all cutting your grass and picking lettuce.. your wrong they are working in every industry at every level... Its projected by the obama administration that there are 30 million people who came here illegally who will apply for legal status in the next 2 years. There are laws on the books in California already that you can not discriminate when hiring an illegal alien over an american citizen...

If you are so smart .. fix that problem before it happens.. convince a few generations to not have children.. convince people to submit to a lottery to procreate.. and then remember you don't have to convince the west... you have to convince the third world.
