The poster didn't mention anything about VB6. So your point is moot. Anyone writing VB6 code will have to port their application to VB.net. This is not required for C++. Though if they are making extensive use of MFC there maybe some things that have changed (likely for the better).
In fact the multiplayer is going to have Q3 physics (which will be different from the single player). So you will again be able to rocket jump, strafe jump, etc. I'm excited.
But like IBM, AMD likely would not have been able to keep up with the Apple demand. AMD currently can barely keep up with the enthusiast PC market as is.
I'd like to know where your comment about Nintendo having the most powerful machine has it's roots. I was pretty much under then impression that it was XBox, Gamecube, PS2 in order of best performing machines. I love my GC and I have put alot more time into it than my XBox. But I would say that XBox games generally get more (not significantly more) out of the hardware then Gamecube titles do.
All people do is read the words as if you spelled it out. The meaning is still there. What the FUCK is the point of replacing a few letters with @#$%^&*!
Not a stretch at all. I still don't see the problem with an "artificial limitation." Microsoft is a business, of course they want you to upgrade. They are supposed to dangle as many carrots as possible to convince comsumers to do so. Besides W2K is 5 years old I can see them using technology that's available in XP and not in 2K. SP2 is also free if you have XP. The hardware requirements aren't all that different from PS CS2.
Slickedit is still my favorite all around multi-platform, multi-language IDE. The only thing it's really missing is a visual design tool for developing GUIs. But you could always get the plugin and run it with Eclipse.
From the benchmarks it seems as though ATI's offering have the edge over Nvidia for DX9 games. For OpenGL though it's quite the opposite.
So my prediction is that Nvidia will spank ATI on Doom 3 and ATI will trounce Nvidia on HL2. I wonder how much the popularity of the two games will affect hardware sales. Probably not at all.
You also have to remember maybe some bands don't want to be on iTunes. In the case of Radiohead I believe that they only wanted their albums sold as a whole and not individual tracks, because that's how they see their albums.
It would probably be much more advantageous to post your question on photo.net. Be sure to include whether or not you want to shoot film or digital and how much you are looking to spend.
I was under the impression that the PSP was going to be over $300. I've read from reasonable sources maybe even as much as $400. But yeah If had to guess on the DS price i'd say between 125-175. Or about twice as much as a GBA.

No I liked Hulk too. The ending was horrible and overly contrived otherwise I thought it was a good origin movie.
There is no managed Add Ons button in my version of IE 6.

When did MTV start airing music videos?

The auto-connect feature was default in Pre SP2 Windows XP I believe.

Much better thanks. :)
What the hell DVD player did you pay $400 for in 2000? I hope it was progressive scan or had a DVD changer.
FWIW Asp.Net 2.0 is going to generate 100% standards compliant XHTML.

A) Cause an economic downturn as people can't get their work done without IBMs support.
There might be a bank or two that stops functioning.
Except that MS invented the XMLHttpRequest object which makes AJAX possible.
You don't need a Hotmail account to use MSN Messenger. You only need a Passport Account which can be obtained with any email address.
Requirements aren't in TFA they are on the download page.

What's your point? Why Gimp requiresd GTK+ 2.4. Shame on M$ for requiring the newest version of their operating system for new software!
So why not just redefine where %TEMP% points to?

I just figured Expose was their answer to virtual desktops.
