When I was working for an Illinois university. We took all old equipment and carried it to another building where we locked everything up in a big caged room for it to sit there forever.
yeah, works nice for command line work. Just run a sort | uniq -c on your shell history file to figure out what commands you're typing all the time and get some nice little short cuts.
"Should we add a Google-like search engine but twice as good hard-core into Windows? Guess what. If we did that, I don't think a company called Google would be very happy," he said.
What the heck is "twice as good hard-core" anyway?? This is from the Microsoft European President.

You know speaking of editors what I really want is something capable of column editing. Under windows I found ultraedit but nothing with linux. Makes me wish for ISPF again.
This only blocks part of the big changes that are comming down on Oct. 1st. There are still pending changes in the way that telemarketers must handle abandon calls, etc. The FTP and FCC were working together here for something. Still stands to be seen what is going to happen for the other changes.
"So what are you in for murder, rape, bank robber?" "uhm...I was sharing some Michael Bolton on Kazaa" "You talking about that no-talent-ass-clown singer guy?" "uhhh..." "Come on over here boy." "sob..."

Chernin also decried efforts to download copies of the latest Star Wars installment. About 10 million people tried to download "Star Wars: Episode II -- Attack of the Clones" and "Spider-Man" in the weekend after its release, and 4 million succeeded, he said. "

Reminds me of the first time I saw a bot on Quake. I remember playing on a server and then a new guy started. I ran up behind him to give him a little surprise and saw that he was just running straight with rockets firing off in all directions. I just sat there thinking WTF is going on. Then we learned you could type in "no bots" which kicked off the first bots before people started modifing them. Never understood the thrill of cheating like that.
