Huh? There are no living things on Earth that we are aware of that can exist in a living state without water. I'm not sure what you mean by 'think small', as even virii (who's life status is arguable) are inert bits of junk without water.
Funny, it doesn't say anything about 'illegal', it just says 'ex post facto Law'. It's like say, being convicted on a possession of marijuana charge, and then two weeks later they make marijuana legal. You don't get to go free because it's legal now; it wasn't legal when you committed the act.
No, no it isn't. It's 'uttering threats'. Just because you don't like something, or because something is illegal, doesn't make it 'terroristic'. Whatever that is.
Oh my god!!! Gang-like behaviour in a prison!! It must be that Satanic game's fault!
Seriously? Money and time got spent on this? Why do they allow sports in prison then? Obviously having a team captain and/or coach mimics gang-like behaviour!
To 'citizens', or 'the people'? It's nice to know that even when they're technically on your side, the government sees you as business does, in your role of 'consumer'. XD
You do realize that 'weather prediction' and 'climate prediction' are significantly different fields of study, right? Also, 'global warming high priests'? Get over yourself. There's the scientific side, and the denier side. One has science backing them, can you guess which?
No, he used the interface provided by the device as designed. That the device is faulty is the casino's problem, not his. How did he forge anything at all?
Part of the reason that lobbyists have so much power is that ordinary people don't inundate their reps with opinions and facts the way that special interests do.
Replace 'opinions and facts' with 'money' and you're getting closer to reality.
Wickard v. Filburn can not be justified in any context. It gave the Union government power to tell a man he was not allowed to grow food for his OWN consumption. That is not what the Supreme Law says, nor the original intent of the authors. ----- Intrastate commerce is the purview of the Member State - alone. In fact: Eating your own food isn't even commerce. Period.
Of course it can, with enough sophistry. Obviously if he's growing his own food, he's not buying food. If he's not buying food, he's not spending his money into the interstate food trade, thus impacting interstate trade. See? Easy.
I'm hoping it's the latter and not the former. I'm kinda tired of dragons being the villains all the time, not to mention IIRC they were a civilized race in the TES lore.
Distilled water is rather aggressive when it comes to dissolving minerals. Since it doesn't have any dissolved in it when you imbibe it, it just takes them from your body. It's basically an exaggeration of the difference between drinking water and isotonic beverages when you're exercising.

I think SCOTUS > State Constitution, no?
And my axe!
Why do I never have mod points when I need them. :(
Because economic and military power, that's how. Might makes right, after all. :P

Yeah, you've already got your own, you don't need an imitation one.

I'm not sure hitting someone with a meter-wide bean is really "not harming" them... those've got to be heavy!

If you're not drunk, then why refuse to blow?
If you haven't done anything wrong, what do you have to hide?
So, the moral of the story is that God is one of those annoying creeps who takes credit for the good deeds of others?

Why don't we just call it what it is? Corruption.

It's like a bizarre, sad comedy, isn't it.
Wouldn't you also have to shoot yourself, for complete security?
Where are my mod points when I need them. >
This, a million times this.
I tried inhaling Goldschläger once... that hurt! :(
Atheism is a belief system in the same way that not collecting stamps is a hobby.

This is starting to remind me of Charles Stross' Accelerando, and that worries me. XD
