I'm simply saving some guys bandwidth a little, speeding things up and saving people from clicking through "usage agreements" and converting proprietary formats.
Oh, and the site is hosted in Telehouse London. I'm sure with the LINX they have more than enough bandwidth.
bah.. its 5pm, I've had small microwaved mince pie for lunch, some shite instant coffee, my article asking slashdot folks how to make my workplace happier got rejected, and you can see from the post subject i can spell 'Sourcecode'. And it's raining.

Sun produces both the OS and the hardware for their machines. Apple produce the OS and hardware for their machines. Thats what makes things Just Work (tm). Plonking Solaris on a Mac isn't going to do much for hardware compatibility:|
I find it ironic that IBM invested $50 million in Novell so they could outbid Sun, and now Sun are looking to buy Novell..
Also, I'm worried about the rate at which tech corporations are swallowing up other companies... We seem to have lost many medium sized companies (suse, ximian, etc) as well as some huge ones (compaq).
Ahh.. the good old "rip off something another companies done" move. Good to see they are still as innovative as ever. Doesn't google own any patents on this?
Isn't that what the DOJ ruling wanted them to do, causing MS to bleat on about how it would "impact the ability to develop quality, integrated products for customers". Yeah. Right.
First they sync their release cycle with SUSE, then then rename their desktop products to personal and professional - just like SUSE, and now their releasing a Linux Desktop for the enterprise. Come along Redhat, do keep up..
The civil service has obviously had access to these documents for a while, so why do they have to "announce" these apparently real plans on April 1st and then get all irritable and have to deny repeatedly that its an april fools joke. Why didn't they release the story yesterday, or couldn't they have waited until tomorrow?
There is no pleasing some people...

Will this still work with the new crackdown on third party software that Google is undertaking?
