8 million firefox users (as of spreadfirefox.com) all hitting mozilla.org as their default start page must generate quite a lot of traffic, and the start page wasn't that useful other than telling you what you just downloaded and installed.
The other theory is that Google donated quite a bit, but I prefer the first;)
This BBC article says that it has been reduced by 75% and has pictures.
It does look a _lot_thinner. I guess this would reduce manufacturing costs, for sony. It might mean what you bought 3 years ago is old and out of date now, but hey, thats the tech industry for you.
Are there no cameras out there that encrypt the images on the fly and require a passcode to view them ? Maybe that could be a useful feature in the future to stop this kind of thing from happening..
With less bugs, more features, a simpler installation routine, a smaller download, lots of features people want in IE already implemented as well as plenty of positive press coverage, its hardly suprising people are starting to use it more and more.
Add to that the recent spate of security holes in IE, and I would expect usage to grow even more when 1.0 is released.

Lets hope they don't stay out of the way for too long, like they did with BT, especially given how quickly businesses get a foothold in these kinds of markets.
Hmmm.. a couple of theories..

Obviously just switch the 0.10 to 1.0 in the mirror urls... we can't have everything now can we :)
Mozilla.org is really getting hammered. Try waiting a few hours for the mirrors to update.
Here is a Google cache of the Firefox Mirror List.

I'm not really suprised. Now that Novell has bought SUSE, they are dealing with a nice big US corporation which must be very familiar to them.
Before Novell bought them, SUSE was seen as this oddball German company who probably seemed a world apart from a US Corp like Dell.
Correct url without space and clicky for lazy people is here
I thought Novell Open Enterprise server WAS a commercial product...

Would the high voltage needed to run an LCD backlight be a potential hazard in a bathroom ?
With the current surge of spyware, viruses (don't get into the virii / viruses battle) and other malware, this may be the best feature yet :)

I like how google.com was registered 2 years after gmail.com. I wonder who used to own it ?

How long did it take them to unbundle the local loop again ?
