Im locked into Comcast Cable where im at(philly). Comcast bought both the Flyers and the 76ers and only broadcast the games on comcast local channels. So I have to $50 a month to get cable. I would rather have cheaper satalite around $30 or so but I couldnt see the games. And you cant even get the local channel that plays the game on the stripped down package which is like $10 a month. You have to buy the full cable package to get that channel.
It seem like extorsion to me. I think that $50 a month basic cable is WAY TOO MUCH.

I have to use cable at my new apt b/c dsl is not avialible. b4 i was paying $50 a month and my dl speed peaked at 80 K/s. Im paying $40 per month now with cable and am getting upwards of 250 K/s(Any time of the day). With a comparison like that i dont think cable is going to die anytime soon unless DSL providers get thier act together.
