  1. It Is Not Politics on Wyoming Is First State To Reject Science Standards Over Climate Change · · Score: -1, Troll

Such nonsense should never play out under the banner of political debate. This state is evil and disgusting. The use of fossil fuels causes disease and ruin to the environment. If Wyoming is so screwed up that they can't make a living without pushing fossil fuels or cheating the children out of a real education then it is time to abandon that state and go to a place where people can earn a living. And yes, all global warming may not be the result of human activity. However even if most warming is caused by forces of nature the urgency to stop adding to the heat issue would mean taking the same steps anyway. When faced with warming you simply do not want to add more heat to the environment. What Wyoming may be proving is that people should never be allowed to vote or be self regulating in any way because some people sell out for a hand full of silver. Shame on Wyoming!

I once worked for a company that was always looking at a down hill spiral and could not afford to advance employees or give meaningful wage increases. The consequence was that workers mostly only wanted to work just enough not to be noticed or singled out. The rational thing to do was to pitch in and make things better but the workers almost universally refused to do much on the job. Worse yet some of the management had no clue as to how jobs could be improved or work output or quality improved. It is a shame to see a company that has been around for three decades go to hell in a hand basket.

Think about it. Russia is doing an expansion right now. If the Ukraine and others had a few thousand really good nuclear equipped cruise missiles I seriously doubt that Russia would have dared to tread on them. Most of the nations of the world seem to take any perceived weakness in another nation as an invitation to invade and slaughter and it is so convoluted that the aggressor will claim that their victims deserved their fate as they did not keep strength and readiness sharpened enough to not tempt others to invade.

We have a serious problem in that anything new always meets strong or even violent resistance without regard to the quality of the new idea or service. We see this with the Tesla cars where conspiracies to stop Tesla abound. And it is true that London is known for good taxi service but even in the US most taxi services are an abomination. Further the scope of such laws could be over reaching. Am I suddenly not free to offer a neighbor $20. to drop me at the airport? I know car dealers that feel that the "Auto Trader" and Ebay should not be allowed to sell cars at all as the dealers feel that they should have the exclusive right to sell cars. They even argue that individual car owners should be prohibited from selling their own cars as only dealers have to pay taxes and meet regulations concerning car sales. The local meat head will often remark that "He has the right to make a living." And therefore he has the right to burn down the competitions buildings or do whatever it takes to control "his area". In short anything new that is a good idea will always have to fight a war just to exist.

It might also mean that black folks who are very dark would want to appear a bit less black at the very least. I think we have reached the point at which being a conservative must be regarded as evil. One issue is the constant sheltering and support of race hate groups. The second issue is wanting to control the actions of others with belief systems that want to regulate abortion or pornography. If one dislikes abortions then simply don't have one. If one dislikes porn then don't consume porn. The notion that one's personal moral beliefs must be stamped upon everyone else is just wrong. Then there is a continuous display of lack of concern for others. Failure to support education or the teaching of science as well as the failure to support those in distress and dire need can not be tolerated. For example Palm Beach,Fl. has laws that make it a crime to feed the poor. And yes, good people do fear conservatives. And maybe we need to fear them even more than we do today. But more to the point if phobias are an expression of genetic damage then we have a proof that many people thought to have been mentally ill have nothing more than a damaged gene. Not only will that go a long way towards saving lives and eliminating suffering it will also mean that insurance companies would be forced to treat this form of "mental illness" as a physical illness and that in itself would open up care for some disabled people. Phobias can be so severe that people are totally non functional.

We humans are a bit on the defective side. How well can we think when we have a history of electing people like George W. Bush as President? Most people, including teachers, do not have a real grasp as to what a computer is or what it can really do. There are severe, emotional, religious and political issues involved in the concept of computers. It is all too easy to get a teacher who is a dry, old, stick, who has been indoctrinated into believing that computers are just fancy adding machines that can do nothing creative, never make errors, and not trustworthy. If you take the time to point out that certain programs develop new knowledge and solve problems that have challenged human minds for hundreds of years you will be shocked at how fast he can bury that information and return to his former beliefs. Many people go so far as to believe that computers and robotic devices can never displace human labor. They will stand by that belief even as workers are displaced before their eyes. And if we dare to suggest that Shakespeare could have done better if he had access to good computers we may give half the academic community a heart attack. As a youngster I had no clue as to how ignorant many teachers were. At some point one catches on that in many cases teachers only parrot back what some other functionary pounded into their head in college and false teachings abound. American history as taught in schools is a complete mess and often only a matter of opinion and false opinion at that.

Even if everybody in the nation is pure in heart and free of preferences discrimination will remain a huge problem. The majority group will tend to do better than any minority group. This issue starts with the family. If you have a nephew who needs a job and you are in a position to boost your nephew up a bit the chances are that you will give him the job. If you are running a restaurant and know that your customers want to see a sharp looking young girl to wait tables that is who you will hire. By being inclusive to one group you exclude other groups. One by one these little trends of including some people will become a brick wall for other people that often can not be penetrated. I even met a doctor that could not make a living. He was short and tended to be pudgy and had lousy skin color and frankly was on the ugly side. His healing skills might be wonderful for all I know but the man gets no new patients and therefore can only work in situations like an emergency room where patients are assigned to him. His financial success is very limited compared to what it might be if he were at least of average attractiveness. When it comes to many darker skinned people we probably should be assigned a financial penalty to help support them as prevailing conditions will cause many of them to live in poverty despite great effort on their part to succeed.

Obviously you want that salesman to come from a background and living situation in which owning a new Mercedes is common place. A salesman from that background can reel in new customers for the dealership. More common yet is an experienced employer who wants to hire people that live very close to the work place. For example if a person is sexually attracted to young children they are mentally ill. The desire is in itself the proof. The same applies to murderers who have a desire to kill others. They are not sane even though they appear to be. One could even state that when a murder occurs over financial lusts that such a lust defines a mentally ill person. After all most people do not value wealth to a point that they will kill to get money or property. Since we don't confront these issues anywhere else we also do not confront these issues when we hire nuclear power workers or commercial aviation pilots or other positions in which a twisted system of desires resides within a person.

That way they could still make money on all those lovely Nazi soldiers while keeping the public unaware that they were actively doing business within the Reich.
