Don't be ridiculous. Farmers had been genetically modifying crops and livestock LONG before Monsanto and its ilk existed. Do you think modern crops and farm animals look anything like their ancestors just a few hundred years ago? Selectively breeding crops and animals has been around for thousands of years, and we're all still here.
I know that the horsepower demand for a game engine designed for a modern console is finally going to be a lot more demanding than last year's titles, but a GTX 680 as minimum specification?
No kidding, those requirements were Crysis level shocking. I just built a new medium-high end rig and even my system would barely meet its minimum specs. No way they could get it to run on even a new-gen console with those kind of specs, not without ramping it WAY down. Christ, the run it at its RECOMMENDED settings you would need a $2000 system at least.
I just worry that all these Netflix wannabes is going to fracture the content market (with content being hopelessly split amongst competing streaming services thanks to a morass of exclusive deals). It's fine now, with just Netflix and Amazon Prime being serious contenders (and Hulu's half-assed effort pulling up the distant rear). But I see a possible future where I've got 300 different streaming services on my box, all of them wanting a monthly fee--and with me trying to remember which one of those 300 has the movie or TV show I want to watch tonight.
It won't work with my universal remote. So I'm just never going to use it for streaming. Roku, AppleTV, etc. work just fine for that, and have way more apps and less complicated interfaces.
I used to have a friend who was convinced that the CIA was flying around in black helicopters spying on everyone. Guess I owe him an apology. He just wasn't thinking big enough.
Yeah, my dick is inherently functional too. I piss with it. But I'm pretty sure women wouldn't be cool with me whipping it out and pissing in public whenever I felt like it.
Looks more like Team Fortress 2 than Destiny to me. I'm just surprised it's PC only. They sure as shit aren't going to get Destiny numbers if they're releasing it PC only.
Yeah, I'm aware they exist, jackass. My point is that they're still a niche product. Now, maybe that will change someday. But until I can see more electric cars in the wild than Windows Phones, it's still a niche market.
Change is just fine with me. My point is that a $70,000 car that can only go about 250 miles on a charge is still a niche product. There is nothing irrational about the vast majority of the country looking at that and deciding to stick with their un-hip combustion engine cars.
In the entire southeastern U.S. (excluding Florida, because that's hardly typical) I count about 15 charging stations and two showrooms, and there isn't even a single charging station in 4 states. That's not anecdotal, go look at Tesla's own map. Now maybe you live in Atlanta, Charleston, or Charlotte (fairly well-to-do areas) or maybe you count Miami as the South. But I've never seen one. I've seen a lot of Priuses and some nice Mercedes, but never once a Tesla.
It's like a Lamborghini. I know what they are. I've seen photos and video or them. But seeing one on the road? Never.

I imagine Ubisoft's shareholders care.

And neither one includes an Asian woman. RACISM!
That's because both parties want that sweeping power for when *they're* in charge.
Put on a good show for the idiots to pretend like you're doing something, you Corporate-owned assclowns.
Daredevil has been doing it for even longer.
The FBI/Police/DEA/etc. know that. But they need to put on the occasional show to justify their budgets and keep their jobs.
In other news, police arrest drug dealer on corner. New drug dealer replaces him that same night.

Just found out my policy only applies to earth. Fucking rip-off!
I bet you're not even using the best Desktop, which is the one I use.
Yeah, there's your problem right there. Someone set this driver to "evil." ;-)
Here in Seattle
Yeah.
Compared to the outback, that's paradise mate!
Because my distro is the best.
Australia is like that island in Lost. It's fine as long as you don't venture too far from the beach.
Blasphemy!!!
