I think Microsoft should focus on restoring Nokia to its former glory , apologizing to the people for screwing it and focusing on the crappy operating systems they make.

The blackberry market in Pakistan is peanuts. They bent over in India because they had significant sales there. It was more profitable for them to exit Pakistan and publicize a pseudo-pious cause rather than bend over. Business is unethical by definition.
Other OSes will only remain alive when they are developed for free, or when big companies are willing to compensate the losses (Samsung with Tizen and Microsoft with Windows Phone).

I think this is the sweet spot for a highly optimized public transport system .
the only reasonable way to "fix" it is to not use systemd and any Linux distro that uses systemd.

They should start by selling their 3310 and 3315 phones. They are better than the crap which Microsoft makes today.
