    There's been no evidence released yet to prove Russian influence of the election, but all thinking people know it to be true. The media wouldn't be talking about it so much unless it was true.

  4. This. If only pure votes counted, Trump probably would have only concentrated on NY, Chicago, and LA, and most likely still would have won. Instead, he had a smart strategy of trying to win important states instead of using the "50 state strategy" Hillary used. Damn, it hurts for me to admit that.

    No study has ever shown a problem with ETS, but that hasn't stopped states from outlawying, for example, smoking in privately owned property or in cars in certain circumstances. If you think about it logically, being near someone smoking isn't within orders of magnitude as bad as someone that pulls smoke directly into their lungs and holds it in their lungs hundreds of times a day (assuming they smoke a pack).

    I agree. Those places probably won't even work the required 16 hours a day Mon-Thu much less the 12 hours required Fri-Sun.

    As someone that works Seattle Hundreds that is 16 hours a day Mon-Thu and 12 hours a day Fri-Sun, it's sad that you think people should be so lazy as to require 10 hours off after only 10 hours of work.

    Not true. We're paying almost six figures for customer-facing help desk jobs, and here in Seattle we can't find people. Dealing with Windows problems is tough and takes a lot of experience. The combination of problems created by Windows is huge, and take a lot of experience to figure-out. To be fair, since we have several locations in Microsoft builds, we have to support MSIE 6 so that is worse than most people have.

    That wasn't a typo. It as a school yard insult. The media is sexist, and by using that as an insult, they're proving that. Being a woman is not an insult, and calling him a she to attack him is just childish.

    In addition, having fifty different sets of byzantine NN rules.is a huge barrier of entry for a new competitor and only helps the big guys like Comcast.

    screw them. They often advertised "WinModems" (software) as real modems and included pictures of real modems with DIP switches in their ads even though the modems they sold didn't have them. They charged many of our customers restocking fees for those fake modems. They need to just die.

    Just sad. Most of my friends work or have worked there, and it's sad how they've laid-off their most experienced people to save money. Currently setting up a new OpenVPN server, and it supports great encryption and has since I started using it 15+ years ago! Sad Microsoft can't beat that open source project from well over a decade ago.

    But seriously, Mindtree that handles support for Microsoft is just a disaster. We opened several tickets in July when we first started moving to Azure, and not a single one of them has been resolved.

    Seattle has been doing something like that the past year. A state income tax has been ruled unconstitutional, but the city still decided pass one and waste money taking it to court. It's like the city council doesn't realize that people will just move out of the city.

  25. It isn't, and the courts support it because, like in the case of NC and where I lived in Chicago for a while, the districts are minority majority in order to give us a voice. They are a good thing, and some judges think it is Constitutionally required. To do away with it harms minorities.
