Or, ya know, stop having shitty security on a website? Oh and how about users don't reuse passwords? While I agree with you in spirit, there's the other side of the coin where harmless situations do more good than bad. BVM isn't stealing identities, nobody is going to jail, it's just a visual change to bring attention to a poor practice. How about we cater our response to damage done and not burn the whole world down.

Actually I have seen such a thing, google around for the "GM Sequel". It's not really a hybrid, it uses fuel-cells to drive electric motors in the hubs. The US companies aren't totally in the dark, they are just behind a bit.

Actually we do have the means of making diesel fuel from a renewable resource. It's called Bio-Diesel, and it's created from the oil of soy crops. I don't have a link handy, but it's out there all over. In fact there is a van I think the drove clear across the US on nothing but the stuff.

  23. FuseBox on Abandonware, or 'Allaire Forums Open Sourced' · · Score: 1

Just to toss in my few cents here. The guys over at Fusebox www.fusebox.org will probably pick this up and do something with it. They seem to be making a more structured way of developing fusion apps (I know.. bad word to use here). Personally I don't really think it matters what you use to spit out your page, as long as it WORKS. I'm sure I'm opening up a can of "but this works better", but I don't really care :)

In my opinion anything open source, or even close to it is a good thing because it seems that anything that is usefull that is open source seems to become better and more usefull. So what if Forums dosen't get reused or updated in any way shape or form, at least it IS out there for people to see and maybe play with to learn something new so they can bash out something that is usefull. So no matter what it is and for whatever reason, open source of anything is usable.
