  4. They could encrypt it and send it up. The question is how good is the encryption and the password you used to generate the key. If they use a combination of symmetric key for the bulk encryption and asymmetric key (generated from Password) to encrypt the symmetric key. Then they could encrypt everyone's data with the same symmetric key and encrypt it with the asymmetric key to make it look secure. So now the NSA can get access to everyone's userid and password

    Not necessarily, someone might be buying the real thing and selling them through Amazon. Even though the company does not want anyone selling their product on Amazon. So they still have to prove they are fakes. A friend of mine who had is own store front also sold online.

  11. The shoe company's solution to the counterfeit problem is to stop selling their products @ Amazon. Most of their customers will never know they stopped selling their products at Amazon, so the counterfeits will be the only one's available. And worst of all the shoe company will lose money because it will sell less shoes. Not sure this is a wise idea.

    Gun Control will not stop mass killings, If a person has decided they want to kill a bunch of people and guns are not available to them, they will use motor vehicles/home made bombs/planes. The biggest mass killings in the US did not involve guns, just box cutters and Jet aircraft.

    The Movie Industry biggest competition are pirates and if they want to beat their competition they will not do it on price, so they need to work on convenience. Adding DRM, Disabling Fast Forward/Next Chapter on previews are all things that are annoying paying customers

    Well the 2 things I think are worth the upgrade are the BASH Shell (A new way to bash on Windows :) ) and they will also fix the Windows 260 byte path limit.
