The result, as measured here, is increased learning. Last time I checked the goal of school was learning. It is neither a baby sitting service, nor a place to farm out ineffective people. At present we have the worst of all worlds: A union paradise where to simply show up is the main measure of success. And that attitude rubs off on the students: Attendance is all important, test results, not so much. All fine , until the students graduate to the real world, where they find out it does not work that way, unless, of course, they choose careers as teachers!
Anyway, this is a classic Netwrok Neutrality casebook example.
Where a carrier of multiple services (such as Rogers), favours their own content with substantially better rates of carriage, they are blatantly breaching Network Neutrality.
Being as this is a near monopoly situation for many of their customers, a strong case can and must be made for legislation and intervention.
Too bad we live in Canada where on issues like this governments an be so easily bought.
If they "went out of business" you would NOT "have nothing". You MIGHT "have competition".. Maybe.. And yes, blame Apple for making it a monopoly scenario for carriers.
There are precious few alternatives. How else on the net can you easily solicit contributions / donations? The real problem is that Paypal has no competition.
The Microsoft Volume Licensing Service Center is undergoing maintenance as part of a series of enhancements to improve the licensing management experience for partners and customers.
We apologize for any inconvenience and our goal is for the site to be available on Wednesday, December 16, 2009. Please check back on the website sign-in page for regular updates.
And yet, when you get a Microsoft Open License Order Confirmation, the first section directs you:
Volume License Keys
Also included on the eOpen site, are your applicable Volume Licensing Product keys for installation of products requiring a VLK. If you are unable to find your VLKs, you can obtain them by calling the Activation Call Center for your region. Procedures for obtaining your VLKs and for Activation Center phone numbers can be found by going to http://www.microsoft.com/licensing and clicking on the Volume Licensing Product Keys link.
And, when one tries teh OTHER routes for keys, one is directed to THIS STATEMENT:
I remember when it was civilized, polite and courteous. That gradually changed. It soon became openly hostile. Several people I know well had incidents, and, I trust when they tell me it was without provocation. I have seen several conflicts at US border crossings, and many were without cause.
Please bear in mind I am a white, balding, 53 year old guy who is about as "white" and grandfatherly looking as you may find. This is not some paranoid fantasy on my part.
I am a Canadian citizen living in Canada. I have been entering and leaving the USA for pretty much my whole life. I am 53. A few years ago I stopped going to the USA, except when absolutely necessary.
One of the most dangerous places I can think of is a US border crossing.
Who cares? Everyone should care. This is a little bit of an "acid test" for any school you are considering sending your children to.
If, your question: "..was usually met with a blank stare" then it seems fairly obvious to me that you should keep looking for a school whose employees are not clueless!

But Skype and Fring sold us out on VOIP calling on Android.
Now to do Skype on Android you have to be on Verizon.
The Blade Runner was both the oldest example I could remember, AND it was the most far fetched version.
Hmm, with that resolution we could do the science fiction standard nonsense:
"Select quadrant in top right corner. Enhance.
Select the reflection on the subjects glasses. Zoom 50X and enhance.
See the face of the murderer.."
Remember Blade Runner?

Yes, that WOULD be good.

Wrong.
The names of the teachers are not mentioned on these articles.
What you describe simply has not happened.
However, as a parent, I think one should be able to get access to this information.
This is not much different than Consumer Reports.
If I want to buy a good product I try to locate and read comparative analysis and tests.
I am sure Maytag are unhappy when a report shows their dishwashers are not as good as Kitchen Aide.
However this simply provides them with the necessary information and the motivation to improve their products.
DSL, point to point wireless, Shaw, etc.

A lot of similarities still exist within Linux Journal.

What would it take to update older phones?
A cable.
A file
And a cell phone company who actually gave a rats buttocks, of course.
Simply put, most phones running older versions of Android could be updated to current.
And why aren't they?
Because the cell phone companies are cheap, inconsiderate pricks.
Once they get you to agree to the 3 year contract their job is done.
OK, " stolen" from another post, but this way YOU get the answer to your question:

This is for Volume Licenses and server products. not retail personal OS products

Agreed, this is the sensible , the logical, and the scientific way to determine this issue.
However, it is most important that one does not subscribe to an exclusive predetermined outcome.
If it turns out that the music is indeed a distraction that is costing productivity, be prepared to "man up" and face it.
I remember when it was civilized, polite and courteous. That gradually changed.
It soon became openly hostile.

Exactly!
And runs on most popular OS.
Only in US.
Books can not be given away.
"Pass"
Agreed.
I am a Canadian, with no criminal history or similar.
I am white, of obvious (blonde) european ancestry and middle aged.
I find it almost too much of a nuisance to bother going to the US any more.
I believe the point of these laws is to preserve a persons right to say something "anonymously".
Often referred to as "off the record".
Just as in now when I post this, I have the choice to click on the "Post Anonymously" checkbox.
So , let us ask YOU a question in return:
"Do you expect a school to provide Windows OS support?"
Who cares? Everyone should care.
