Absolutely, a couple of years ago I personnaly tested and reviewed a lot of password manager, and since then I use PasswordSafe on both windows and linux.
There is no way I will use one with "cloud" support when you have no control on it. Even then I don't put my pwsafe.psafe3 in Google Drive or anything, only on a USB key.
You are lucky, this does not exist in Canada, I found a 2012 Volt for $14000 and 80'000 miles and that's it...
I finally bought a Sonata Hybrid 2013 with 25'000 miles for the same price, not that bad, but in full EV mode at 60mph range is about 3 miles:)
I'm in Canada, and I have seen people being escorted out of work in less than 30 minutes.
Some guy is called in a meeting, he goes there nonchalantly not knowing what is going to happen, then he has to give back his badge/key and is escorted by security outside the building. Some people were not even allowed to say "bye" to their coworker.
It works like this in North America.
My Galaxy S2 had a FM radio in it with the proper app to use it, my Moto G2 also had it, my current Zenfone2 also has it. And they were all unlocked. You have to choose what you buy:)
Prior to a few days ago, I never heard of this guy... I agree with you, who cares what this guy is doing? It's like Zuckerberg letter and its AI, or Musk and its various crazy rants, who cares?
I worked for a US company, as a software developper, that decided to block all the "shareware" "freeware" open source" and al websites, so we had no access to github, stack overflow, forums or anything interesting for developpers. We had to fight HR (it seems HR head had the decision to unblock site, try to explain what open source is...) to access them. It was a true nightmare, they were control freak of the web. The number of times you did a search, click on the answer you were looking for and bam! blocked!
We had bypass using different DNS or 3G on our phone, etc.
> Despite this, Qualcomm is still heavily marketing its proprietary quickcharge 3.0 system to smartphone manufacturers, purely for the incremental profits on licensed wall chargers
Maybe, I don't know, I bought an Aukey QC2.0 charger for my Zenfone2, it charges at 9V 2A and it is really convenient, it's proprieaty I agree but USB-C was not mainstream a few years ago...
Same in Canada, I was in France for 3 months in the 80s so I am permaban and cannot give blood, organs or tissues in Canada. Too bad for them as I am O+ and they made vaccine with my VZV immunoglobulin or something
Came here to write this, CAMPING, very easy to do, cheap, and in some remotes places (like Adirondack park for instance) you have no cell coverage anyway.
As a European living in Canada, I envy you... here I pay almost CA$150 for landline, HDTV (about 50 channels) with a PVR, and 30/10 internet with a 130GB cap. Also in general we have only 2 choices of providers, offering about the same thing for the same price (lot of collusion here, same for gas price).
Do not start me on cellphone plan... almost the most expensive in the world.
Because companies will use the Messenger chat features instead of Hipchat, and create events in FB for meeting, etc.
I understand it will be a nightmare for people who don't want to be part of this FB thing, and I understand!
This does not matter, I guess thousands of 40+ yo people here on /. don't care about FB et al.
Good old times with my Amstrad CPC6128, learnt assembler on it and TurboPascal/dBaseII etc in CPM3, what a great machine it was in the 80s

Yup, I'm in Canada and here various mobile mechanics are on Kijiji for instance, some do only tires, some do full mechanic and even tow a lift!
And this is nothing new, you rarely see trucks hauler being towed, they are all repaired on the road/highway by a mobile mechanic.

Cannot they make some? Ok I know they are smaller, but the Bombardier CS300 has 135 seats, not that bad

FM capability is in the WiFi/BT combo chip, almost everywhere.

We know this since at least September, a simple search in google gives me this for instance: http://www.forbes.com/sites/ew...
Remember 1812? You want us to come down in DC and burn the white house, again?
AFAIK 480p quality is "free" on T-Mobile data network, meaning it does not count on your data, same for music.

No problem with my Asus Zenfone2 with an Intel chip! (I hope)

I recommended Avast from, like, 1998 to 2010ish but for a couple of years now I just tell people to install the MS thing and that's it.

My Amstrad CPC6128 was way better than the C=64 !!
;-)
Just by going to Microsoft site and download the update, I did it, it works fine. A quick google search gives me:
https://support.microsoft.com/...

/. in 98 or 99 was still relevant and contributors were engineers or university students etc
In a way, yes, but
But yeah there was GNAA...
