    Pretty much. I remember hearing about a possible cure for aids years ago, researchers claimed it worked in mice and it was months away from human testing.

    Never saw another word about it. It would be nice if they would at least say why it didn't work in humans instead of MASSIVE HYPE and then nothing.

    They don't get paid less for "The same job", they get paid less because they take different jobs and, on average, work less hours than men.

    It's like people forgot about the Equal Pay Act of 1963.

    But hey, controversy sells and gets ad revenue. It doesn't matter if it's true or not.

    Ditto. I just stopped trying a few years ago. One computer on the internet with no antivirus or anything for downloading files and internet/games/etc., one completely disconnected with shit I actually care about (CAD files, tax information, personal shit, etc.).

    In the off chance I catch something, it's just another quick format and reinstall in the bucket. And that hasn't happened in years (Last one was due to a friend having an infected flashdrive).

    Cheap chain guides and/or tensioners are a huge problem with shitty aftermarket brands as well.

    I got a spare engine for my older car awhile back, less than 10k miles. Decided to open it up and inspect the main bearings to be sure I didn't get hosed and found large plastic chunks of timing chain guide in the oil pan, it's almost like they used a kind of plastic that doesn't last long in oil.

    tl;dr: Stay away from Scantech's aftermarket shit, especially if you own a Volvo or Saab. Fork out the $100 for OEM parts.

    Pure H20 cannot be consumed by humans

    How pure are we talking, and why?

    I got curious and tried to find sources, but I get anything ranging from "IT WILL KILL YOU DEAD BY LEECHING MINERALS OUT OF YOU" to "it's completely harmless due to the amount of minerals you get from eating food".

    There are tons of people that have reverse osmosis water filtration in their home, who only drink from this filter. If this is true, then how are they not dead?

    What about people that drink distilled water?

    How is drinking distilled water different than R.O. water? Aren't they both mineral free from the filtration?

    Google isn't much help since most of the results are people trying to sell me things or "NATURAL MEDICINE, CURE CANCER YOURSELF" type shit.
