I wish I could say the same for one of my purchases. I bought several cards of their branded hearing aid batteries and most of them were duds. I would get perhaps 1 or 2 good ones out of 10- 12 batteries. However, many other of my puchases of their branded items were fine and a real bargan.
I used to go to Starbucks, but the music not only sucked, but the amplitude was so loud that I would have to leave. Perhaps it was to keep someone from sitting and enjoying their coffee for a few minutes before leaving for work.
Bullshit. They were willing to discuss it without shutting the government down. Trump said he would be the one to blame in the shutdown. His had no plan on controlling the border, Plus it was to be paid for my Mexico. This shutdown is just a diversion tactic to get attention away from his really big problems.
They were not counterfit, they were probably from other Apple laptops. Evidently, Apple will not sell any third party repairmen the replacement parts. Perhaps they would rather sell you a new laptop and trash the old one adding to our e-waste. You can go to Lous youtube channel where he talks about it.
Louis Rossmann at https://www.rossmanngroup.com/ is an unauthorized repairman for Macbooks and has some very interesting comments about them. He also has many youtube videos on the subject and anyone who if planning on buying a Macbook might want to visit his site for some very informative comments.
Amitriptyline can have side effects for people with urinary problems and should be used with caution as with any drug. For example, if you have a swollen prostate it could make urination much more difficult.
While fixing the ballot box is needed, we need to protect ourselves from outside actors such as Russia and China. An important article by Roger McNamee who helped with Facebook wrote an article on the attack of our last election in the latest Washington Montly (https://washingtonmonthly.com/magazine/january-february-march-2018/how-to-fix-facebook-before-it-fixes-us/).
by Roger McNamee MAGAZINE. He points out that Facebook and Google use algorithms that can shap our beliefs. This use can allow an inexpensive way to shap public opinion in elections. He also suggests remedies.
Welll, they just got a big tax break from the folks with sponsors. Their taxes in this country will go down as will greedy billionairs taxes while most of us will have increased taxes. The USA really can't afford these bastards anymore. They are huge leaches sucking the life out of us.
I have had Comcast for a few years without any competition except for Century Link. Its not bad, but try to get a cable moved. I spent days calling a place that I could barely understand. I would get an appointment and no one would show or else they didn't have the equipment and would be back with it tomorrow but they never showed. This went on for months and finally I had it resolved. I hope we get a city owned system with hopefully better service. I think most of the problems that I had was co-ordination with what the people overseas or at the local office told me and the contractors were told.
I don't know about the stats, but my wife was waiting at a red signal in the left turn lane with a car in front of her. The light turned green but the guy in front of her didn't move as he was busy on his cell phone. Another woman smacked her from behind then because, you guessed it, she was busy talking on her phone and didn't notice that the cars in front of her were not moving. This woman didn't even get out of her car. My wife was stunned from the hit but fortunately, her granddaughter was able to get out and get the woman's info. Scientific studies show that talking on the phone is a distraction whether or not your holding it. I gave up riding my motorcycle years ago because I had too many close calls at intersections because of folks driving distracted talking on their cell phones.
As an aside, my stepson is a truck driver and can look down at drivers as they pass him and sees people texting and driving all the time even though it is illegal in my state.
I think he did promise some things for people who are having a hard time making it. He did get rid of TPP for example, which could have been pretty sketchy. However I think there is more under the rug to be exposed and he probably knows it. He starts his diversions with his idiotic tweets. I think he knows exactly what he is doing.
I guess you haven't read about the USA involvement in Central America, in Iran, In Chile, etc under "Consevative" regimes. Iraq also comes to mind. I also might add, Democrats haven't been exactly quiet either.
I too did the same thing. I haven't gone back to look at it as I am not a Murdoch fan. I think he and his compatriots have really helped split up our country into one where people shout at each other rather than having a civil discussion. I like The Intercept and I think Amy Goodman is great with her show. I find the English edition http://www.spiegel.de/internat... gives another look from outside the US. ProPublica is another source. I still read my local newspaper, although it is usually fluff. The New Yorker often has well researched articles that go in depth. The Young Turks also have some good commentary. I would like to see more discussions rather than yelling.
I had a math teacher for calculus who would start the class assigning half the students to go to the black board (we had a lot of blackboard real estate) , give them one problem of the homework and put their solution on the black board. He would then give each student the opportunity to explain his or her solution. He would never make negative comments if you didn't have it correct, but instead would work through it with the student. Most students got the problem right, so he would briefly make a comment and go on to the next. It really gave you the motivation for doing your homework plus he learned about each student. This lasted for about half the class time, the second part he would lecture on the new work we were expected to learn. Our class size was about 30 students. I got to know my classmates better and felt more motivated than in any other classes.

A lot of them store it in overseas accounts so they can't be taxed, thus taking money out of the economy.

Do they glue the battery in too?
How about making a phone with an easily replacable battery so you can carry a spare? That way you can watch it as long as your eyes can stand it.

And what does Nancy have to do with anything? She's not the president.
potentially bankrupting many of them and sending some out of the windows of Wall Street skyscrapers
And nothing of value was lost.
I couldn't agree more. Nothing lost, I hope the skyscrapers are high enough.
His skin in the game may be a Russian. I hear that there is a wealthy Russian bankrolling this idea.

Thanks for the reference on Tumeric, I have used it for years and haven't seen that one.

A better idea is to replace the CEO with a robot, think of the huge savings.

Not brainwashing, just teaching people how to use their brain and challenge unproven ideas.
How about the power grids? What havoc could be done to them?
What could possibly go wrong?
