    "It doesn't do that for no reason." Bullshit... I've seen OnStar throw an emergency call for a crash because the driver took a turn too sharp and went over a curb. It most certainly will call for no reason.

  9. Unless I'm mistaken, isn't the Surface more comparable to an actual computer (in that it's able to install actual Windows software), whereas the iPad is more comparable to an oversized smart phone (in that you're restricted only to software in the app store)?

    That's my concern. I hope they're all able to see this coming and aren't living too lavishly with that $70K salary. They need to be saving as much of it as they can.

    All of this noise is about the CEO and co-owner... but what about all the people below them? I'd be worried in their situation. I hope things work out for them.

    The variance between a newborn and a teenager is greater than the difference between one adult to another.

    I like how governments seem to assume that criminals will stop doing something when it becomes illegal.

    You'd be better off just waiting a few hours for the crash reel to find its way to the internet, since I'm guessing that's what most people watch it for... which begs me to wonder why we don't have a professional league demolition derby.

    Programming. 4 semesters of COBOL about 10 years ago. No talk of Ruby, JQuery, Python was briefly mentioned. It also had a lot of business management courses attached to it as well. I just wanted to be a code monkey. I don't care about business law, HR, or project management.

    I found in my course it was at least 5-10 years out of date. Maybe I've just got a poor scope on what postsecondary is all about because of this, but everything I learned I could have just gotten myself out of the books, and if I ever got stuck I could have just hopped on a forum and found an answer that way.
