    Their website appears to be more of a tabloid-style news site with a web-scraping search engine. It'd be like going to The SUN's website and doing a search, but getting results back from all over the internet instead of just The SUN's page.

    I think Yahoo should drop their focus on news and media and turn back into a proper web services provider. They should also bring back Konfabulator.

    Literally 1 day after /. finally got around to publishing this, the Finebros have rescinded their claim stating:

    To be completely fair, the Cons were selling us out just as fast. The thing that really pisses me off is that people still voted for a party that was pro-TPP and pro-C51. This shit had seriously better not pass, but we all know it will... once this shit hits this level, it's pretty much already signed.

    You can't report bogus apps on sketchy sites to have them pulled.


    I much prefer the lax security on Android - Google trusts that I know what I'm doing and allows me freedom over my device, whereas Apple assumes we are all morons and keeps us in a padded circle room and only lets us play with Idiot-approved applications.

    I can't see phone numbers disappearing, but I can see the possibility of shorter numbers being created for accounts that can only handle SMS and data.

  22. BBT is one of the worst shows I've ever seen. The laugh track completely ruins what little humour there may be in the show. And one particular episode they actually expect to believe that the guys would go to best buy and buy the shittiest router on the shelf instead of just making their own out of an old computer? I hope CBS loses hard and they have to cancel the show. And I hope when the judge makes them lose, he makes a "bazinga" joke just so they can feel the pain of how shit their jokes are.

  25. Man, when it starts getting cold out, I love throwing my clothes for the day in the dryer for a bit. Makes the walk to the bus a bit more tolerable.

    Not sure I could handle the socks in bed thing, though... It's just something about the sock fabric touching the blanket that feels... weird.
