I hate absolutely everything about Access. It strikes me as an application that allows non-technical users to create a macaroni-and-glue office-based application.
Maybe it's because I only use VBA along with Excel, but I actually really don't mind it... I can do some pretty nifty shit with it. That said, every experience I had with COBOL was fucking trash.
I can't stand the typical user... they bitch about their "Android Box" when the problem is really Kodi or the plugin... but they're too fucking stupid to differentiate between them. Most of them don't even understand that what they're doing is piracy, and have no idea where the sources are coming from... the whole thing is just a septic tank of stupid users.
At the same time, what exactly do we have to lose by finding cleaner and potentially more efficient ways to do things? Surely 100+ years later there are better alternatives.
More accurate: "Reddit makes the news because some crazy The_Donald lunatic killed his dad. As a response, Reddit decided to close down several (but totally unrelated) subreddits... again"
Seems to happen every 2 or 3 years. Nothing new here.
Didn't the US Government just approve that Equifax can no longer be sued into oblivion? Why the hell should Equifax (or any other company) even give a shit about security at all anymore? They fuck up, get raises, and live long, happy lives.
How could they even expect these things to sell more than maybe 1000 units? Snapchat is relatively niche as it is. Then add in the fact that most Snapchat users are probably 15-18 and probably don't have the money (or rich parents) to buy them the stupid glasses. It really narrows down the number of sales. Maybe if somebody had have found a way to hack them into doing something useful they would have sold.
I appreciate the troll you're going for here, but you should have spun it more about the casino/gambling industry and how the model of the app will get kids addicted to gambling
claiming it would "shame" and even "trigger" those with eating disorders.
What's their point? If people are being "triggered" and "shamed" by the data, maybe they should ignore it or use another app? Who gives a fuck... This entire padded world we're creating is bullshit. They should have added a toggle to disable it, then create a "hurt snowflake" counter that counts the number of people that turned it off.
Thanks for adding those studies to my comments. I'll add them to my arsenal haha.
I also really appreciated your point on fucking touch-screen radios. My van has one and I can't stand it. Most of the controls can be dealt with via redundant steering-wheel buttons, but some people are going to spend their time fumbling around a flat screen.
I have no idea who came up with that idea, but they should be run over by somebody trying to change the EQ settings while driving.
The law arguably makes it worse. We all know laws really don't stop people... but now instead of holding the phone up and seeing the road in their peripheral, they're trying to be sneaky by holding the phone down on their lap... so they're looking at the floor. I'm very much against distracted driving, but this law is just bad news all-around... I'm not sure how to approach the problem, though.
Once you pop the fun don't stop! This has been one hell of a fun ride so far... but when are people going to start being held accountable for this? And if any of us have bad credit, can we just say we got Equifaxed and get credit scott-free?
And thus, they will end up destroying the only reason they (the brancher-offers) were getting money... and we'll wind up all going back to piracy. Things will end up so segmented that we'll be paying cable-level pricing to get access to 50 different streaming services. Fuck that.
Not only to mention that I can't reach the cloud from TWRP if I need to re-flash a ROM or a software package. Fuck this shit. Phones are practically mini computers, and they should be able to function as such.
And best of all is that the Government gets to decide what is and what isn't "terrorist material"! Can't wait to see an entire country behind bars... I thought it would have been the USA that would win this race, but this is a power move by the UK.

DST is a sham and should be killed off already. The bonus is that it will fix the grammatical issue because nobody will need to use the term anymore.
I know there are a few for Android, but what about those silly Apple users? Do they have any way to detect them?

I don't understand... clearly if they were of any importance they would have been digitized by now... and probably stored in a fireproof vault.

I'm pretty sure the rest of the world has been using Chip & Pin for at least a decade now... about time the ol' US caught up!
Heh, I just came from that thread and had to double-check which story I was actually on after seeing your comment.
Here's the story that comment was meant to go on: Almost Half of Tech Workers Worry About Losing Their Jobs Because of Ageism, Says Survey.

Sorry for the low-effort shitpost... I couldn't resist.
I'm outside the US, so I've got Crave and Netflix and that's it... and if it's not on Netflix, I probably don't watch it.

We have so many amazing abilities, but it's all getting shot to shit by terrible security and malicious advertising intentions.

Are you me?

Can't somebody catch that terrible hacker already?
