    DDoS is using multiple computers to "flood" a target off the Internet. This would be a plain DoS attack using a software weakness to deny service.

    I have a job primarily to support myself, and secondarily to have something interesting and meaningful to fill my time. Even if I no longer needed to support myself, I'd stay in the workforce.

    As the bill notes, most US citizens, if they can get broadband at all, are limited to one or two choices... either the local cable monopoly or the local telephone monopoly.

    ... Most US households have a choice of no less than 7 cable companies. Around here, there are more cable companies than grocery chains.
