  1. Mark Zuckerberg is a Criminal on Zuckerberg 'Sold More Stock Than Usual', Faces Lawsuit From Angry Investors (cnbc.com) · · Score: 1

Mark Zuckerberg is a criminal, a traitor who sold out America to Russian Oligarchs who paid Facebook in RUBLES for chrissakes. He helped the Russians to interfere in the 2016 elections and as soon as DJT "won", he went out of his way to act like Facebook did not know what was going on. Zuckerberg lied about Facebook's influence, when the platform was designed and refined to influence humans. I've quit and I'm not going back. Screw that asshole.

  2. >Career is what defines who you are

Not necessarily. Some people prefer to define themselves by their charity, by raising children, but their hobbies which consume their passions outside of the day job. And your job could be "burger flipper" but if you murder a bunch of children, that's going to define you, not your job.

  3. You're presenting a false choice.

    1) We're not going to have a choice. Corporations will decide that for us.
    2) Why not both? You're earning your universal income and selecting your guaranteed job. Republicans will ensure that those who don't work won't receive money, and will suffer in poverty.

  6. Apple's Hubris is Frustrating on The New MacBook Pro Features 'Fastest SSD Ever' In a Laptop (macrumors.com) · · Score: 0

Apple is committed to poor performance by refusing to put NVidia graphics in their laptops. Why? Because culturally they don't care about getting the absolutely best performance. They're going to sell whatever crap they can to consumers. The iPhone is their main business - the Mac is just a hobby at this point - as is evidenced by the lack of a professional desktop machine that can use internal graphics cards. Of course the MacBook Pro can use an external GPU. So can every other blessed new computer in the world. The lack of other ports on the MBP is frustrating. You can't even plug in a fricking mouse because who sells USB-C mice?! God their arrogance is annoying.

  7. Or maybe you prefer a phone that always gets all the updates, instead of Android phones that are stuck 2, 3 versions behind. After 2 different Android phones I said fuckitalltohell and got an iPhone, and could not be happier.

Apple won't repair my Mac Pro's heat sensors but I'll be damned if I'll buy a new computer that costs a ton of money and runs slower. So I'm stuck with loud fans for the time being. It's frustrating as hell.
