    I would think the government would agree to distributing information purely about health issues. I wonder about the tone of the film. Is it wrapped up in criticism of the government? AI's site, of course, portrays it as totally innocent. I clicked on "Watch Documentary" but it stalled out.

    Everything else = 2 trillion

    I typed that wrong. The actual numbers are:

    Military+Security spending = 1 trillion
    Debt Service = 0.25 trillion
    Everything else = 2.5 trillion

    I think the point that US spending is already heavily tilted to the military stands.

    We should increase military spending and decrease social program spending...

    For 2011
    Military+Security spending = 1.5 trillion
    Debt Service = 0.25 trillion
    Everything else = 2 trillion

    It looks like we already spend WAY too much on the military.

    Most of the social spending is in social security (prevents old people from starving) and medicare/medicaid (prevents old/poor people from dieing of treatable illness). Which of those do you propose to eliminate?

    Looking over this largely beneficial legislation, sponsored by all Democrats, it is shameful to see this turd hidden in the fine print of section 493. This is not an amendment slipped in at the last moment. This was by design from the beginning, so kudos to the Ds for upholding the tradition of congress being corporate tools.

    I am not surprised, but severely depressed that there is such a soulless and unethical disregard for the well being of this country by all of congress.

    Based on the quotes in the articles, they're clearly not anti-nuclear. They're just asking for proper government regulation of any installations that are in fact built. Now, it's debatable whether the US government is capable of offering such regulation, especially after the BP disaster. But nevertheless, asking for regulation does not make them "anti-nuclear".
