    Meanwhile, Nintendo has reported a drop in profits and cut its full-year profit forecast. Nintendo's third-quarter profit plunged 43% to 21.31bn yen ($205m; £110m), against 37.43bn yen a year earlier.

    A strong yen and weak GameCube console sales prompted it to cut its full-year forecast by 20bn yen to 70bn yen.

    Competition is intense in the market for games software, with US companies Electronic Arts - the company behind The Sims, Take-Two Interactive Software and Activision - all vying for market share.

    Actually, Ford already did this to me. Back in 1994, I had a Ford Escort and was planning a trip of 1k km, so I decided that was a good idea to do a check-up on a Ford Dealer, just to be safe.

    What was my surprise, when after 500 km, stopping in a gas station, the hood simply didn't open! Needless to say, that was my last Ford.

    So, they ask someone to make a website to tell people they can send written information, for free!

    companies do not produce crappy products simply to 'force' you to buy them. They produce crappy products in response to customer demands. It is what the nameless, faceless, CONSUMERS demand that causes companies to put out what they do.

    So, from your point of view, drug dealers are right, since they are only fulfilling a demand.

    First time I heard of a Buffy's spinoff, I was happy not to see Angel in Buffy anymore. Back then I thought I could enjoy my favorite tv serie without that boring vampire.

    But, amazingly, the Angel show developed, slowly, it's true, to something with its own life. Where else I could find a demon karaoke?

    I think the comic side of Angel is great, but the adventure side is almost comic.

    From the pratical point of view, not every physics student will have enough knowledge of comics. So imagine someone not learning physics because of a, hmmm, calculus issue, but because he/she doesn't read enough comics!

    Strangest one is that City of God got three nominations... although it had its NY/LA debut in December 2003

    But according to Yahoo! News:
    "CITY OF GOD": This brutally violent, documentary-style look at drug gang wars in Rio de Janeiro's slums received four nominations, including best director for Fernando Meirelles. The subtitled film was released last January -- traditionally when the weakest films are released.

    Although this is a cool movie, I must say that it is a nice piece of fantasy, as not even the wildest slums in Rio are close to what is portraited in this picture.

    Loking at the first released high definition color pic, I can see that the image is actually a bunch of images side by side. Fine, I knew that, but what a crappy work! I can imagine what amazing work they are doing with the colors. Really.

    I was not expecting much from the first book, but I must say the first book is a beautiful piece of corporation crap. It's not computer oriented, it's more like "buy my book, make your company better".

    I got a hotmail account a few days ago. Now i got 50 spams per day. Yes, 50. How's that possible?

    I have other 2 webmail accounts, from Yahoo, for years. No spams at all for one and like 2 or 3 for the other, since that's the one I use for everything not personal.

    Maybe I'm paranoid, but I can't stop thinking that's MS fault!
