I stopped renting from them when they shifted their renting model from 1 night to 3nights or a week for more than I was willing to pay to rent a movie. I think it was $10 or something to get it for the week. I was willing to pay the 3-5 for the night but not $10.
This often happened to a buddy of mine. He'd write a song, play it on his guitar and post it. Then some random music company claimed it was theirs. It got to the point where he got tired of being flagged and stopped posting on YT for this reason.
That's what I was thinking too. I maybe see a movie once a year. When they're not turning out super hero pieces of shit with CGI. Now, if I had paid for this movie pass for $10 a month. I would go more often to make it worth while. Then the theatres make money on the $15 pop/popcorn that costs 4 cents to make. However, at current model of $15 a movie ticket. I probably wouldn't go to that many.
Least yours feeds you music you like. I'll have 90% metal songs, suddenly YouTube will throw on my feed the latest pop singers song and hilariously link it to "because you liked Slayer with the song about death and destruction" you'll like Taylor Swift
It's true, I look at the jobs offered money wise in the States vs Canada,no comparison. I get a recruiter daily on LinkedIn trying to lobby me for a SysAdmin or DevOps in Canada then they say max salary is 45k. I spit my coffee, laugh and point out min wage is about 30k so try again. Then I see the same type in the US around 80k US. Canada simply doesn't pay the high tech salaries the US does.
Lol better change your view. I live in Montreal and think it's a fantastic city. Try living in a shit hole like Toronto, Montreal is cheap compared to Vancouver.

I see it constantly in the city. Head down, crossing, cars waiting n honking, they just keep going. I mean if you mow them over, sure you get 10,000pts but also you end up in a news article of man mows over innocent pedestrian and your name is plastered everywhere.
It goes up because all the recent grads who got their shiny diploma are now unemployed and in Mom's basement. Students aren't considered unemployed, graduates are.
