    I know what you mean. Nothing is more important than a weapon that cleans carpets prior to killing the enemy.

    I don't know. I think it would be preferred to have a weapon that cleans up AFTER killing the enemy. Bodily fluids can stain if left to set.

    He wrote stories about Venus, too. The one that has stuck in my mind was the child recently emigrated from earth who missed seeing the sun (because Venus was cloudy and rainy).

    The only movie I can think of is "Little Shop of Horrors", but I don't think that was quite the violent-plant image you had in mind...
