I've been down-modded more times than I care to mention but I'll say it again.....
When the data NOAA keeps has been altered, by NOAA no less, and we've only been keeping weather related data for the past 200 years, how in anyone's right mind can we assume we have found Global warming, wait no AGW, wrong again, Climate Change?
I'm not saying I'm right, but there is money to be had by convincing people that we're on the brink of impending doom.
Performance is still a primary factor for consoles. Without the proper hardware, you will never achieve the visuals desired at the resolutions wanted.
Now for video playback and some AR, this won't be a problem, the amount of graphics horsepower required is fairly modest, but for any games that are pushing the envelope on graphics and physics, ARM will not do for quite some time.
Also, I'm not bashing Google Cardboard or any of the other VR options out there, I think they all have their merits, but you are limited by your platform. Aside from watching videos in first person and possibly some cool AR, what else can you do with a Smartphone VR?
It's not really an accomplishment considering the hardware in the PS4 and XB1 were already outdated when they released compared to what was available on a PC platform. Take also in to account that a GF970/RD290 is the baseline for VR gaming, ARM platforms won't be gaming at decent resolutions for a few more years at the minimum.
We've already proven that the American public at large are idiots and can't be trusted with decision-making power.
I've never bought into the Apple ecosystem, but I'm glad Mr. Cook is taking the high road on these issues and standing their ground in order to protect the privacy of their users.
I think the real story here should be, Put your money where your mouth is.
Don't buy an Iphone and bitch about how irreparable it is.
If I don't support a companies practices, rather it be in their EULA or in the things that company does, I don't invest my money into that company. Simple.
We've been recording temperature data for less than 0.00001% of the lifespan of the planet, and they're still pompous enough to think they are identifying a trend.
This is the key. He screwed himself right there. It it's dormant, the best thing to do is to burn the phone.....which they should do anyway.
Cyber Pathogen? The only people who say Cyber-Anything have no idea wth they're talking about.
It's pretty obvious, but it's just another ploy to reach the emotional center of the problem, which shouldn't exist in the first place.
How are we going to fix our tech program?
Maybe we can google that.

This guy's so far behind the times, he thinks an Iphone has a hard drive in it.
People in the real world call that natural selection.
I always familiarize myself with exit points whenever I go into any building.
Entropy just isn't what it used to be.
She doesn't give a damn what liberals say, as long as it's not sexist.
So rise up, all ye lost ones, as one, we'll claw the clouds.
Sorry just had to point it out. Satariel is awesome. That is all!
In today's politics news:
A blond raccoon was caught lying on the internet. Here's Bernie with the weather.
This is a sad day. It bums me out to see Gov agencies playing the emotion card in order to try and get their way.
"You're either with us or against us" type mentality is so stupid.
If you have to resort to violence or emotional arguments, then the basis of your argument wasn't that good to begin with.
A bullet designed to save lives? Sounds like poor design to me.
I want a bullet that leaves a cavity that's shaped like an American Flag! Would have to be a 12ga round......'Murica
Google and Yahoo have accused ad-blocking software Shine of "destroying the relationship" between advertisers and consumers
If by relationship you mean an endless barrage of dick pics, then sure.

All my mod points would belong to you if I had any left.
The San Bernadino phone was just the start, pretty soon, it will be "DOJ wants the backdoor keys for all your iPhones"
I agree with you...mostly.

All aboard the hype train.....not.

It's getting better, and it will get even better with time and higher adoption rates.
It's basically the same for games on Linux, the larger the audience, the more available the resources will be.
This is also a great thing for DAWs specifically as there is much lower OS overhead than a Windows environment.
What's the point in making electric cars? They still rely on coal power plants in order to charge the damn things.
Even when big oil loses, they win.
In order to make an actual impact, it's going to have to be biodiesel, hydrogen or some other viable fuel alternative that doesn't rely on coal power.
They can have my encryption when they outlaw all firearms.
So you're willing to get screwed twice then?
How many polacks does it take to rewrite the holocaust history?
If they weren't out there, everyone in IT would be out of jobs and these problems woudn't exist.
We would actually have to talk about important things like how the government is screwing us everyday.
