    Heh. I'm betting on a-ftp. A recent virus update manages to quarantine the hell out of any copy of this wonderful program (that I used every single stinkin day to do f a s t file transfer over windows network)

    This program has no malcious code, just a plain ole SIMPLE ftp server.

    Really a shame, just think, when will *your* program be added to the new symantec blacklist?

    5L and the "Linux Affinity Toolkit for Aix 4.3.3" --- real nice package, includes rpm package manager and has a ton of precompiled rpms.

    Perhaps maybe they need someone to audit the entire network, not just some webservers & firewalls.

    Might want to get your head out of the sand and realize in the real world people use *different* OSs than you.

    G.E. Capital ITS. Fuckin' Fine ex-company there. We used to order soooo much stuff from them (due to a corporate contract with IBM to keep our reseller contract we could only buy from them)

    Nothing like damn near 50% markup over IBM's already high prices and the absolute worst shipping times I have ever seen for a company. I swear if we ordered shitpaper from them and it wouldn't get here for weeks.

    A good part of the fees paypal had to charge were absolutely necessary to pay for the fees that the VISA/Mastercard monopoly charge.

    Now, as for other options, you have billpoint (which just makes ebay richer) or c2it, or e-gold.

    I think your got it backwards...now states (like louisiana) can't say "You *are* a bank" so you must conform to our state banking laws.

    Nonsense. You can get under-4-hour support for most any IBM product, you just have to pay a lot for that support.

    For example, one of our mainframe controllers blew both power supplies. IBM flew a lear jet from Atlanta to Mississippi and had the part installed within 2 hours of us placing the service call.

    Why did they mainly scan Ebay? Why not take a look at the large free webhosting providers like geocities?

    It seems like to me the terriorists like to keep a low profile, so why would they want to go through the trouble of getting a working account (and also have the need for a credit card) just to post some information on Ebay?
