Well, obviously that isn't true, demonstrated by a Mr Trump who barely fundraised at all.
If the ordinary people picked him, I think I'll stick with the corporate choice, thank you.
This is just another reason why we need to migrate away from DRAM. It's simply at a fundamental level too easy to exploit this way. We need to move to non-volitile memory, which is more power efficient anyway. Hopefully within a few more years the tech will be there.... I'm most excited about the carbon nanotubes, myself.
Yep. Just shut off IPs connected to DDoS attacks. Redirect all requests to a plain HTML page saying "you have been banned due to DDoS activity. Patch your devices and network".
Sure, it would cause a lot of complaints, but if everyone enforced it then eventually everyone would fix their stuff, after a lot of complaining.
Frankly, I think a court challenge would be fairly brief and one sided. You have the freedom to pick who stays in your house, clearly, under freedom of assembly.
I would add Dolphin Wii emulator to the NX and sell the discs as downloads. The Tegra X1 can easily handle Dolphin and people will be more inclined to buy something that can both replace their current Wii and also be a portable tablet.
They never had a great oxygenation event. Unfortunately that makes Venusian colonization somewhat more difficult.... But when you get down to it, Venus could be labeled "Instant Earth- Just Add Water".
Honestly, this is a good example of why we shouldn't panic about rising population levels- our farming efficiency growth exceeds our population growth.
Mercury, we think, has some water. But you don't need lots of water. It also has a lot of energy. The most effective way to get stuff off Mercury could just be rail gunning packages of it into a Earth transit orbit, then just firing retrorockets and splashing down in the ocean. Just a thought.
Honestly, being assassinated was the best thing that ever happened to Kennedy's legacy. He died before the sex scandals broke (which would have killed him early 60's) and everybody remembers that he stopped the Cuban Missile Crisis but not the Bay of Pigs invasion which he botched and caused the whole thing.
Mars is a dull spot to colonize- wouldn't get much. The moon is really only useful for rocket launches and observatories. The best spots in the solar system to colonize are Mercury (heavy metals), the Jovian satellites (liquid water, loads of raw material) and the Saturnian moons (same story). These are also the ones being ignored.
Yep, I think I already mentioned we can expect a Note 8 really soon with much of the same hardware, but a better nonexplosive battery and maybe a Snapdragon 821.
I think that marijuana is going to be the sequel to tobacco. Smoking different stuff isn't healthier. Around the 2030s we will probably see lung cancer and throat cancer go up again along with everything else as the second anti-smoking campaign begins.
Or, you know, we could just try to stop it now.
We ought to have FOSS election software and hardware, and have a centralized VPN to avoid issues with open wifi connections. The voting machines in the US is horribly broken.
Oh, and while you are at it just make a centralized biometrics database for the US and incorporate them in the voting machines.

At this point we should be smashing media and internet companies apart not letting them get bigger.
That would work too. And the big four have it in their own self interest to do this... They could be the next Dyn.

Well, messing up Russian elections would be way harder. You would have to take down the buses they use for voters. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/...

If we could get anybody but Comcast with that speed. Really, I think internet should be and will be a utility akin to electricity.
All run Linux on POWER9 workstations. At least that's what I would want.

No, they were hired by Google to impersonate Apple agents disguised as Samsung agents to embarrass Apple.

He should have run. His campaign motto could have been "I told you so". But we got Trump instead.
They really ought to have an international ban on geoblocking/locking. It's just a pain for everybody involved.
Well, one of the big problems is that in developed nations, the people with the lowest incomes have the most children.
Honestly, this is a good example of why we shouldn't panic about rising population levels- our farming efficiency growth exceeds our population growth.
It could be a bust, but I think it looks like HyperTransport all over again. Intel misses out on a good standard. Honestly, what is up over there?
I should clarify: access to energy via solar.

The Libertarian party had a chance to go mainstream but they blew it big-time.
