You need to read the second link in the article, which clearly proves that MSN targeted Opera. The proof is in the fact that changing the User agent string to 'Oprah' results in the same non-broken page sent to IE. MSN detected 'Opera', and sent it a broken page.

This was browser specific to be broken.

And no College degree or Cert is going to prove anything. I've seen people with certs galore who couldn't apply it to the real world.

My degree has helped me get jobs, but honestly, EVERYthing I do I learned on the job.

The people kind, not the computer kind. Your next job WILL come from someone who knows you, and knows someone who wants to hire someone. It won't come from a blind resume.

Secondly, no matter how much experience you have, you will ALWAYS face the 'experience required' hurdle. You will never have the number of years they require in all the things they require. Years of experience in related areas rarely counts for anything.

Shakespeare with 5 years' Wordperfect experience couldn't get a job as a poet in a Word shop, unless he knew someone.

I used to work as a sysadmin at a library. A co-worker wanted to donate several copies of FreeBSD he had. The problem the library had was that they had a boilerplate policy for all software CDs that said you promised to uninstall it when you returned the CD, not to copy it, etc etc. Free software didn't fit into the boilerplate library policy, so they weren't quite sure what to do. They wanted to get it out, but were worried about deailng with multiple circulation policies.
