I dont know about the whole "swamping the internet" part of the articale, but as far as AOL users go, i work tech support for a company (think big "Q") and sooo many times these AOL ppl call up because there "mic" dosent work, and you have to explain that voice is going over the "i n t e r n e t" on a 56K modem, and there just talking to ppl that live across town. *sigh* alexander graham bell where are you now?

no one can figure out why we are "over staffed for xmas"
how are our colleges at HP, Dell, IBM and (ugh) gateway staffed tonight?

HAHAAH!!! out of all the lame posts that mention cost.. friendly fire and stuff.. this one is good.. this deserves at least a 4 in my book
Ive always wondered why @Home in the us costs so much, i mean $55us thats like $80CDN, i wouldnt pay that, i pay $42CDN and im with @Rogers and except for some minor (1 week long outage) i cant complain. except for the fact that that stupid "DMCA shutting down @Home news groups" but now i got them all back WHOOHOO!! u guys ever hear of a news group called alt.binaries.cdimages? its all ISO stuff u can download!! A W S O M E !!! thank you @Rogers!!
I suppose i should mention i have a Lancity modem, and the settings that the 1800 # gave me are diffrent than the website.. but neather settings work, i cant even ping the settings they gave me.. if im loosing my valuable @home email address.. i might as well just switch ISP's good news: all thoes news groups that got blocked 2 months ago.. THERE BACK!!! WHOOHOOHOOHOO!!! bad news.. ping reply is %50 slower
i thought ALL dvd players had to have regions in them? are there some that dont? are the legal? are they blackmarket? can i buy them online? i never heard of this before??? can some one post a store they know or somthing of this?
