it makes no difference here. whatever the price will be, apple australia will jack the price up 300%. those asses. the original imac, bottom of the range was selling here for over 3 grand when it was selling for under a grand over in the usa.
I already have this. My computer's made entirely of natural materials. Sand for the circuit board and transistors. animals and plants to the crude oil that makes the plastics. And natural rocks, found in the ground, refined to give the metallic casing.
good old close window popup exploit. one of the biggest exploits with javascript and it hasnt been limited or anything. i remember writing a javascript that not only generated random geocities sites. but opened 30 random geocities sites, each in a new window, and then the page would also open two copies of itself also. so itd double and double and continue to open geocities sites until the cows came home. or the memory ran out.( which is a pretty long time on current pcs)
i wrote this in response to the fact that our school was monitoring our net usage to make sure we werent playing games (slime voleyball, etc.) through a proxy program placed on a g4 comp.
they really need to rely on tested technology. just have some government site with news every seccond. Like a blog, as a distraction so the majority dont vote. Only those who have been paid. Then have the poll using the code of the slashdot poll. accuracy.
public trial:- \Pub"lic Tri"al\, Even though you you may be innocent, the public decide, which is why they need to release names and addresses etc. So the angry mobs of cable company CEOs can gets them.
[Barney] What about us braindead slobs? [Lyle] You'll be given cushy jobs
maybe they could include some code to randomly insert these ramblings into every articles comments and have a computer generated flame response to it all to free up some database space and people from bothering.

actually u need three.
go test it out.
get a compass and two points 4 inches apart. if u know a user is 3 inches from one point and 2.5 inches from another point there would be two possible locations the user could be. you need three points. u only have signal strength(which is prop to distance) not angles. so you need three points to clarify any point in two dimensions. And four or more to more acurately place a point in 3 dimensions.

you cant find any 2d location without triangulation.
if u can please tell me.
by increasing signal strength you would be increasing signal strength to each access point by a proportional ammount. there would still be adequate signal strength difference between access points to identify your location.
the only viable method i have seen on slashdot is one up a bit further which proposes em reflective surfaces. that would work. and so would purposely blocking out a particular access point from the direction of your antena. ie. place a lead sheild or something in front of some access points and make it only able to "see" one of them
yeah, stuff like this has been happening alot recently. firstly the "anti-terrorism" laws that allow anyone to be arrested and kept for 6 days without a warrant. The current party in power (liberals) at the moment has also been trying to extend its period in office through added legislation. And then there's that Tampa thing, with the government refusing to let in any refugees into our country, but instead putting all the asylum seekers into a prison. where alot of them still are. And how the government ordered our intelligence organisation(asio) to spy on citizens about the crisis, and then asio ratted them out. Now the australian government wants all these powers that allow for it to break into the privacy of all australians and ban any party or group that might oppose them. Sounds alot like nazi germany to me. oh yeah, and in the new budget theres all that extra spending on the defence force...
An even geater problem than finding the first node address would be actually finding the program. Wouldn't china(or any other censoring country) have any sites that provide this software blocked? and if they didnt, are they really that censored?
the vxd is a file from return to castle wolfenstein and the two dlls are from MSN messenger. The executable makes changes to your system and the contents look as if it also modifies the registry
the website hints that it is created by Uli Riehm, a german 17 year old.
This is pretty bad for an article like this to be posted without confirmation of its functioning, considering that 50000 people could have a possible trojan because of this.
