With the increasing interest in hydrogen fuel cells it may be time for the 'coalition of the willing' to begin the inva^H^H^H^H liberation plans of those countries that possess surplus hydrogen reserves.
It also might be time for a manned mision to the sun...
I have several old laptops that I current run as servers. It seems that it is quite common for old laptop batteries to die and refuse to hold a charge. Suddenly, they become pretty decent servers if you set them up to remain running with the top closed.
I suspect that you will find a few of these 'battery-less' laptop on ebay for a good price as the lack of mobility will really effect the asking price for a laptop. Snap them up and get all the cheap servers you will ever need.
You know, I have accepted that being a target of marketing is an evil that is part of the cost of living in a capitalist society. With this as a given, I would rather that I was offered products that I might actually be interested in.
This is why I am not particually hostile towards google ads...

It seems to me that a patent is a piece of property owned by a legal entity. Does the ownership of a patent differ from, say, the ownership of a car.
If there is not legal difference between what is essentially two pieces of property, would it be legal for me to draw up a contract with a client that expressly forbid them from filing a case against me if i decide to steal their car?
I do appreciate that this would be a criminal matter, but presumably a civil case could be brought also (lose of earnings for time without transportation perhaps).
Would a contract that legitimizes theft be considered valid if legally tested?
we'd all be a lot healthier if we followed Fred's example
I suspect the cardio vascular benefits of using your legs to power your car would be dwarfed in comparison to the damaged caused by eating one of those ribs that toppled said car.

That takes care of the huge problem of 14 year old girls prentending to be 50 year old women.
The non-issue of 50 year old men prenting to be 14 year old boys (or girls) is probably not worth the investment!

I think I might even start porting some of my code to punch cards, by the time they return to the mainstream I could be a 6-figure consultant.
At what point do we need to shift the focus here and start posting slashdot stories when they find some code in IE that actually works?
