I don't see that happening any time soon. That is like suing google for being able to find pages that might possibly link to copyrighted mp3s. You just can't expect a human to filter though a billion line list scanning for what might be offensive to everybody and anybody.
Yeah, but what is the point of having systems like Echelon in use for "national security" if it can't even protect us from things like September 11? What exactly IS it protecting us from?
Recently Nintendo seems to be showing a new strategy of innovation.
For example:
1) Zelda is to be cel-shaded. 2) Metroid will be a FPS. 3) And unconfirmed rumors say that Mario Sunshine will be designed for 3dglasses, thats why the screenshots seem so odd.
Nintendo must be trying to break their image of being totally conventional and change resisting.
Has Phil made a comment yet regarding this? PGP is his child and it seems like if anyone has anything useful regarding this to say, he does. Where are you, Phil?
The reason that they did this, I suspect, is due to the fact that recently people discovered a way to emulate with the Warcraft III beta. Copies are being distributed all over the net, and blizzard wants to halt it anyway possible. Perfectly understandable in my opinion.
P.S. I know it is lame to reply to my own posts, but i just realized this. Look in the snd3d.dll now. It has the exact same msn messenger string references as the other dll had. It seems to be the exact same file with a 16 kilobyte file difference. Uh oh.
I wish someone would explain to me why xboxkrnl32.dll is essentially a renamed msn messenger dll. Check the string references in that. It seems like it is the exact same thing that msn messenger would use. Maybe its a virus using msn messenger to spread info about your computer/trojan sending ip address/etc. I would be careful people.
Qeast certainly would not have been the first company to do it. Ebay did it about a year ago and many other companies have as well. The people who chose to not opt out are the people who obviously won't mind having spam sent to them.
It has been proven that v3.9x LAME's new -r3mix option is exactly cd audio quality. It uses a much more optimized VBR and in the end, everything is in cd-quality sound. Look at www.r3mix.com for more information.
Just because you had never heard of Elcomsoft does not mean that no one else had. They have been making very quality software for a long period of time now. Their Advanced Disk Catalog is well known by many people. Just because you had never heard of them does not mean that they were discovered the day that Dmitry was arrested.
I can vividly see a world in which it is mandatory for all people to have sensors in them. This day is not far off either. It will be introduced as a further measure for our "safety", but in reality it is just another advance of Big Brother as well as our loss of that scrap of privacy that we used to hold.
Yes that is true, but it must have genetic information. Something is only considered living if it has heredity and is able to reproduce with variation. In order to have heredity you need genes. We might have to study they gene-structure, but they will have something... if it is life of course.
Harry Potter was not a sci-fi novel. It was a book dealing with witches and wizards. Witches and wizards have nothing to do with science-fiction. And most of all, Harry Potter books are children's books.
Borders is entitled to do whatever it wants inside its own stores, but the consumer does not have to stand for it. Also, if what they are doing leads to descrimination or if there are mix ups like there have been in the past, it could most likely lead to problems. Most people are afraid of what this technology can lead to and will therefor shop elsewhere. Borders needs to decide its priorities.
How ironic will this be when...
on
Pirates!
·

the game IS pirated and everyone who plays it actually ARE pirates.
Well gee, this isn't good.
The correct expression is to "beat a dead horse" not to "whip a dead horse."
Just FYI.
Correlation in no way whatsoever leads or is related to causation.
That is all.

You neglect the fact that the encoding for multiple channel stereo systems, such as Dolby 5.1 or 6.1 systems, is not part of a normal audio cd.
Well maybe the modchip is designed to correct this "flaw"?

I guess it finally proves once and for all which operating system is more secure. Windows can go cry in the corner.
That article is only wishful thinking. We have heard it time and time again, but it is still only wishful thinking.
