  5. Grade on Is The 'CSI Phenomenon' Good For Science? · · Score: 4, Insightful

I have not watched much of the show, but I don't much care for shows that wrap everything up in a neat little box and make people think that all crimes are solved in an hour, give or take commercials. There is some cool technology, however.

  6. Re:For all non-photo geeks out there on Largest Digital Photograph in the World · · Score: 1

My post, or my post's parent? We didn't need "megapixel vs camera optics 101".

  7. Causality. on Computers Linked to Glaucoma? · · Score: 1

I don't see the established causality. Just because a certain set of people have an ailment at a higher rate, does not mean that that activity causes said ailment. It's a fallacious argument.

  10. Superflous. on Amazing Things Your Automobile Can't Do · · Score: 2, Insightful

I really want my car to do 1 thing, get me from point A to point B, reasonably efficiently and safely. A modicum of comfort does not hurt either.

  11. Raskin. on Jef Raskin On The Mac · · Score: 1

Raskin is a glory seeking attention whore. He will do anything and say anything, as contrary as it may sound, to get some limelight. Just ignore this.

  12. You try. on Why Are There No Sports MMO Games? · · Score: 1

You try getting 36-50 people together to play against each other, with one guy possibly as a reliever in the bullpen, potentially not playing. Never gonna happen.

  13. Tsk tsk. on Political Cybersquatting Or Free Speech? · · Score: 1

This is cyber-squatting, and a pretty cut and dry case of it as well. A new low guys, a new low.

  14. Headline. on Griffin RadioSHARK Exceeds Expectations · · Score: 2, Insightful

How is it ballsy, you can achieve the same effect by hooking up a tape deck to your radio. Choose your battles wisely, the headline just sounds retarded and immature. I don't see how it is a counterattack on the RIAA or the file-sharing lawsuits, it's the radio, you have always been able to record it.

  15. This really depends. on Printers - Are In-Cartridge Printheads Better? · · Score: 1

If you do a lot of printing, I would suggest a model without the print heads built in to the cartridge, I think Canon and Lexmark are like that. If you print a lot, I would suggest an HP. Maybe even a color laser, if you have the scratch.

  16. This makes no sense. on Ballmer Says iPod Users are Thieves · · Score: 4, Insightful

What is this sweaty ogre talking about? I have 1605 songs, not one is illegal, they are either ripped from my own collection, or purchased from the iTMS. If iPod owners, were thieves, why would they be spending upwards of $500 on a music player? I am sure they will lobby congress for a legal monopoly on music now.

  17. Grow a set. on Google Confirms Chinese Censorship Claims · · Score: 1

Google, grow a set. They are already behaving like a real corporation. The mainland Chinese can still get to the cache, or maybe they are using a proxy.

  18. Why? on Persuading A City To Go Wireless? · · Score: 1

Why would you want your city to go wireless, it will probably be filtered like in Libraries. The American people need to learn to stop depending on the nanny state to hold their hands. What is the point of free wi-fi. I have wi-fi in my house, but eventually it's just going to be an empty marketing ploy, that doesn't mean anything.

  21. My approach. on Most Fun Way to Leave a Bad Job? · · Score: 1

There is this newfangled thing called "taking the high road". Politely tell your boss that you are leaving in two weeks, if he tells you to hit the bricks, that's his problem. Do not retaliate, as justified as you may feel. Your fellow employees do not deserve it, as much as the PHBs may. If you have an exit interview, tell the interviewers why you are leaving.

First off, I realised I misspelled it about 2 seconds after I wrote it, BFD, make that a post script next time.
I didn't say it wasn't public domain, I just said it was not very cool to just willy nilly post people's information.
Why didn't the mods post their own if they are trying to make a point?
