it has 2 ethernet ports (100mbits), and a USB one. i'm using one as my core router (for an ISP) and it's just a charm :) add an usb external hard drive (not sure if it has usb2, i dont use it) and you're good to go

also, verisign pointed out the TTL will stay to 24 (or 48?) hours, so this really only affects NEW domains, unless you set your zone ttl to much lower in the first place (your zone has a higher trust than verisign's, so the ttl from that zone gets cached instead of theirs)

cd aren't a viable replacement for that purpose either due to them being so slow to read to, requiring a special device (cd writer) and not always working as boot devices either (im guessing due to the spin up delay)

you clearly lack an understanding of how email work

the protocol does not allow 'partial get' of just the headers, so it doesn't matter if they're headers or not. you still have to send the whole message

the whole point of SPF is to stop that message from getting downloaded in the first place. they're not "just bits in the pipe" with spf/rbl you drop the connection BEFORE the message even cross the pipe.

i don't like spf, but domain key is even worse

speaking from experience, english is easy to learn. at least it was for me, coming from an exclusively french speaking family

in french every other verb is irregular, the syntax is awkward, and words are often spelled completly differently than they sound.

also the increased overhead put (yet again) a bit more load on the backbone links.

when trying to track down a problem on multiple busy server, 1 second is at least twice (most likely more) as much data as you would need

a 1 second delay in synchronisation between your web application and a TV show is a LONG time (it's for interactive tv. we have to synchronise with the ads, the questions asked in the show, pauses, etc..)

of course the biggest problem is when dealing with multi networks problems. i don't count the number of reports i've had from server with misconfigured time and timezone informations :\ those are usually unresolvable, unless you get a lot of report for the same problem from different network (so you can cross correlate them)
