I find it amusing that you take my sarcastic statement at face value, and come to a conclusion based on that. Actually, the very people who allow me to enjoy a relatively bloodless life happen to be those who have established the very infrastructure that even YOU exploit.
OH YES. I'll go back to weeping and wearing my Peace sign t-shirt.
I use IE. I can avoid the advertisements, just fine. I run a very anal default security configuration. The Only sites I allow to 'spam' me are those I frequent. The other sites don't have a chance.:)
That's because those are the only casualties that have occured. As you put it. Also the result of friendly fire. So we should just ignore that they exist? The fact that the only casualties have been the result of the bombings? Yeah. That's an excellent attitude.
Actually. I got most of the updates from IRC channels on ETG. Along with the repeated information from shacknews.com. I didn't bother wasting my time with TV. Except for checking it out occasionally. It was actually quite interesting all the fact checking that was going on in, #worldtradecenter. I didn't need those 'major' news sites then, and I didn't waste my time numbing myself to TV, either.
"Seriously though, it seems perfectly reasonable that a person who has a belief in a God (not necessarily any particular God) could be non religious, in that they practice no specific religion. It doesn't help that 'religion' has five definitions."
I agree. I know of some people who don't place emphasis on any religion. But instead define the universe as their god, etc. So I'd say you were right. I would think that I have a 'faith' somewhere along those lines, in that I don't believe in the christian or other interpretation of a GOD, am not religious, and yet I have a 'faith' in the universe.
"I don't know why Intel is cutting its own throat, tying its processor to the most expensive memory around, especially since that same memory is holding the processor back."
That statement isn't really valid anymore. Check out pricewatch.com, the prices aren't even remotely close to what they once were.
Hell, I remember when I payed out the ass for a stick of pc-100 SDRAM corsair micro, when memory was really expensive.
" I suppose they signed some agreement years ago and now they're stuck."
Heh, yep, it was going to expire next year or so, I believe. They ended up extending that very agreement.:)
You know that would've been an issue 1 or 2 years ago, but with competition as harsh as it is between Intel and AMD, prices have gone down. You can now get a 1.0ghz+ for less than 150. Memory is extremely cheap, like 30 or so, for HIGH Quality RAM. So it's become a non issue.
Btw, I use WinXP RC2, on a Celeron 366A, 128megs of PC100 SDRAM, with no problems whatsoever. I also have enabled all of the GUI effects, and I handle it just fine. I never used Win2k, so this was a big change for me as far as transitioning from WinME is concerned.
I'm on XP RC2, I had no problems running it. Maybe you got the wrong version of the game; As has been noted, the one from gamespot is the wrong one, WolfMPTEST0915.exe is the file you need.

It depends on your tastes; I'm happily finding a lot of electic music on there, makes me quite happy. Soundtracks and Humour Soundtracks are cool as well.
I read on/. that Sony has different sections of development/marketing, pertaining to different products, as opposed to one entity, and they all compete with each other quite fiercely.; So I wonder just how things are right now, between Sony Music and the Sect that handles CD-R's, for instance, probably going at each others throats.:) Can anyone elaborate on this further?
Yes, and the reason for this tension is we expect these methods to be misused.
Where's proof of that? Oh, right. There is none. You're just parrotting.
That's the great thing about Crayons, they can take you to more places than a Starship.
?
You sound completely detached from reality, I pity you.
Careful. You might actually spark reason in some people. They may not be used to it. :)

The Windows version AG(audiogalaxy)satellite lets you opt out of the spyware. You can verify it by using ad-aware(http://www.lavasoftusa.com/).

I've done that before.
"Mexican President Vincente Fox for use in his 'eMexico' initiative to get 98 percent of the population online"
:)
That should read "Vicente Fox" Not "Vincente Fox". I'm Just clarifying, 'tis all.
Would this be similar in technique to that used on the TNG era Enterprise? With those 'Bio-Paks' or whatnot that handle the systems?
Hmm.

You said it, pal; That's precisely why they get so worried about places like that.
He was acquitted, and given a national commendation; Very surprised when I heard that, I'm glad that some people have their heads on right. =)
