That was part of the deal when they published his work using their characters. It was probably part of your deal too, pretty standard on "shared universe" writing contributions. I know Sony has some draconian hiring policies, they put you through a wringer to find out if you are a good worker bee. You have to pass a "personality test" made up of vague questions with "yes or no" answers. Things like "Daydreaming is good, yes or no?" Depends. Operating heavy machinery, I'd have to go with bad. Used anything affects the price of new anything. Trade paperback collections of comics bring down the value of originals but the companies don't care how much YOU can get for what you bought from them. Releasing Lunar for the PS brought down the value of my original copy for the Sega CD. Everything affects everything else. Go cry on someone else's shoulder, the world just doesn't care...

Gotta laugh at your comment. It is rife with the whole "Us vs. Them" mentality that leads to discrimination.

I happen to think that discrimination is not the real problem at all. Everyone discriminates. PS3 vs XBOX- discrimination
    Win vs. NIX - discrimination...

It is irrational, unfounded discrimination that is the problem. The kind of discrimination that goes against the US (or other countries, for that matter) Constitution. To me that includes discrimination founded in maintaining artificial quotas. It should be that you hire the best person for a job, REGARDLESS of race, not "You are the best for the job, but we employ too many people of your race already so I can't hire you."

If you are against racism or discrimination, then no aspect of race, religion, sex or age should be a factor at all.

And no, this has never happened to me. I just believe it to be against the principles I learned growing up.
