Someone falls through the ice, and they are worried about an iPaq? Well at last they have their priorities straight. No way Tina was running any sort of Linux distro.
Its nothing like using a router, its everything like using a HUB. Its essentially a second ethernet port on the modem, except it uses USB. If you were getting your traffic contract max on both simultaneously, well, I think you might of been stoned.
Well, it pulls a second IP (using a MAC address that is one less than the HFC MAC ID, for example 009083123456 becomes 009083123455) and shouldn't get a whole nother set of bandwidth, but should fight for bandwidth with the other machine as if were both on a hub. Really, All you managed to do was pull a second IP for a while. I don't know of ANY way to turn off the USB function of the CDM, as far as I know, it can't be done. Its just a nic, with a MAC address.
They finally learn, and put a link to the Google Cache, IN THE FUCKING ARTICLE???? I'm so impressed.
I thought regular fluorescent lighting already fucked shit up, since its not really a steady light (like incandescent) but really flickers on and off REALLY fast. Some guy thought a cool way to basicly broadcast info from these lights was by slightyly altering the timing to transmit data....
Who needs RF lighting anyway? I'd rather have a wireless laptop/pda.
Hope its not a fake.

Is one who doesn't call every few days because they "can't get their email" It doesn't give any error messages they say, they just can't get it. Have them open up OE, and low and behold, a box asking for a username and password. At this point they SWEAR they don't have a password. After you explain that you MUST have a password, then they start with the "I don't know it" routine. I swear, its not worth it.
1. Company Announces Cool New Product.
2. Press Releases tout new product, articles in respectable publications back the products. (I saw this in Time at one time)
3. Time passes, money is spent (embezzled?) and the product never really surfaces.
4. Eventually we find out it was a bunch of BS and the demoes we're fake.

Because those smaller pulses are harder to pick out on the other end :) and Would be affected much more by noise
Because you need bandwidth to transmit, the width of the band.....
So if you want 2 mhz of room, your channels need to be at least 2 mhz apart... goober.
You're From Chapel Hill? Maybe you've heard of a man Named Ben Folds, he is my hero.

Thats what I bet one of the biggest changes has been. Now almost any half-assed movie is gonna have a "making of" featurette on the DVD release.
