This version kills Live Bookmarks. Some of us FF old-timers are hopelessly reliant on these things, and it's, as far as I have found, the fastest way to quickly scan lists of headlines from all your favorite sites at once. Seriously, one click and you can quickly mouse over the sites on your bookmarks toolbar to consume hundreds of headlines.
Mozilla has forgotten what made Firefox great. Vivaldi is my new default browser. There are still some things missing that I used from Firefox (Live bookmarks, the DownloadThemAll plugin), but the performance is better and they care about the power user.
No. Terrible design that makes it look like a cheap WordPress site using a free theme because/. was too cheap to spend $40 for a premium theme. What are you thinking?
Sure it does. Catering to the Linux community creates good will. The geeks that use Linux often have influence over the technology selections of others and are more likely to recommend products from a company that, in their eyes, has done something good. Every business decision does not have to equal measurable profits. Some decisions may have no effect on the bottom line today, but by doing The Right Thing by some, will reap rewards in the future.
... Or maybe Carmack just wants to play a little FFA on his Linux box.:)
This guy has been in office since the late 60's. That's 50 frekin' years in the Senate. With the number of lobbyists in Washington, there's just too much temptation to compromise your beliefs and the needs of your constituents. With term limits, lobbyists can only get their meat hooks so deep into a Senator before they're forced to leave office, having to start the process all over again. It's not a foolproof solution for Washington corruption, but I certainly think it would help.
Just imagine how incredible the true nature of the universe must be if current theories hold true that 10, 11, or even possibly 26 dimensions exist in our universe.
To think about it is mind bending, awe-inspiring, and dream provoking.
it didn't melt the Internet because Silverlight is a steaming pile of shit. Why is my video jumpy on Silverlight, and smooth on every other flash player on the Internet? Denied. Rejected. Checkmate. Break point. False Start. Foul. Interception. Belly flop. Armbared. Epic Fail. Divide by zero. PWND.

Bob Slydell: Milton Waddams. Bill Lumbergh: Who's he? Bob Porter: You know, squirrely looking guy, mumbles a lot. Bill Lumbergh: Oh, yeah. Bob Slydell: Yeah, we can't actually find a record of him being a current employee here. Bob Porter: I looked into it more deeply and I found that apparently what happened is that he was laid off five years ago and no one ever told him, but through some kind of glitch in the payroll department, he still gets a paycheck. Bob Slydell: So we just went a ahead and fixed the glitch. Bill Lumbergh: Great. Dom Portwood: So um, Milton has been let go? Bob Slydell: Well just a second there, professor. We uh, we fixed the *glitch*. So he won't be receiving a paycheck anymore, so it will just work itself out naturally. Bob Porter: We always like to avoid confrontation, whenever possible. Problem solved from your end.
For those of you that wish for Microsoft to continue developing classic VB, Sign the Petition! It's too popular a language to just toss aside and break everyones existing code.
So much for the democrat theory that record turnouts would obviously mean good news for Kerry. Bush won more votes than any other President in our Nation's history. The American people have spoken, and spoken loudly.
Pandora could really use this feature as well.

I really, REALLY hate that they're killing this feature, but this addon promises to restore it: https://www.ghacks.net/2018/07...

With Facebook creating email addresses for all of its 700 million+ users, does that not immediately make Facebook the largest webmail service?
Come on guys, this was posted 11 years ago now.

Gotta credit Canadian politicians for not selling out wholesale like they do in the US.
Indeed. Things sure have changed around here.

One miscellaneous observation; quickly scroll through the thread. Posters put a lot more into their comments back then.

Or do these post-it notes tacked on to unrelated bills need to be stopped?
