    - Gender detection and ajustment (regarding this whole toilet seat issue...) now really, I don't want a toilet doing any cutting in that area, and just how would that work for the ladies? would it store the "accoutrements" in a jar or something?

  12. Re:NYT Registration - My Thoughts on Inventors Wanted (Add To The Wishlist) · · Score: 2, Insightful

Just a few notes on the Tivocorder. It would be very simple to have simultaneous playback and recording. Simply have the playback through an earpiece, and have the recording through something like a microphone clipped on the chest. And as for storage, simply use the I-Podule or other high-capacity unit. The iPod would actually be quite ideal, as its battery lasts the better part of a day, and the memory capacity means that the disk would only be active once every 20 minutes.

I think that what they mean by "legally blind" is when a person is nearsighted/farsighted enough to be considered legally blind. In that case, the only adjustment to the laser would be to refocus it so that it is properly focused for the user.

  19. The Ultimat Game Boy on Tiqit Handheld PC · · Score: 1

I'm pretty sure this thing can run any decent emulator up to the 16-bit generation. So, stick SNES9x on it, and it's a really advanced handheld. Yeah, I know a WinCE machine can do that too, but this will have higher-quality graphics (640x480 vs. 240x320) and, you can use the keyboard as a controller!
