Should Apple reduce its price on any shipped product within 10 calendar days of shipment, you may contact Apple Sales Support at 1-800-676-2775 to request a refund or credit of the difference between the price you were charged and the current selling price. To receive the refund or credit you must contact Apple within 14 business days of shipment.
To clarify, that is NOT a trade-in policy, it is a price-matching policy. You can't return something unless it is defective without paying a restocking fee.
I tried to do this with my 15gb iPod, which I purchased right before the current model came out. I tried to exchange it for a 20GB model that was selling at the same price as my 15gb was the week before. They wouldn't let me return it without paying a restocking fee, but they did give me about $50 back to match the markdown they gave to the remaining stock of 15GB ipods.
hmm... do you know where I can buy some sky? Also, I'm interested in purchasing the Brooklyn Bridge; I heard it was for sale. If you have any info, that would be great.
I'd recommend the Activision Anthology for GBA. I got it for xmess, and it rules. over 50 Atari 2600 Activision games, and for each game a scan of the original cartridge label, front and back of the box, and a text version of the manual, "online" in the GBA cart. Plus a few homebrew games, and a couple incomplete games that were never released rescued from an Activision junk pile.
I have an old P233MMX touchscreen laptop with 128MB and W2K runs fine on it. I dual-boot, but run 2K because there are no *nix drivers for the touchscreen, and the NT4 drivers work in 2K. Also, note this a Pentium I, heh. It does actually start to slow down as the registry inflates, but it is pretty snappy after a fresh install, and turning off unnecessary services, etc.
If people started living for thousands of years, interstellar space travel would become a real possibility, even without FTL ships. The real problem would be boredom. You would need some pretty extraordinary people on the mission. Most people would probably go insane if they were stuck inside a tin can for several centuries. But with the right people, a cribbage board, and NetHack, such a long voyage could certainly be undertaken.
Many of my users seem to do this, actually. One guy's desktop is so cluttered its impossible to tell what his wallpaper is. He doesn't put stuff in folders; everything is right there on the desktop. Its bizarre.
Most stores that I've been to will allow an exchange for the same software if it is opened. Just say it doesn't work, or put the CD in the microwave or something so it *looks* broken, and they'll let you get a new copy.
Open Pod is an applescript for iTunes that builds a playlist from the files on your iPod, which you can then copy to your music library. This thing saved me hours of re-ripping when I deleted all the music from my hard drive to save space, not knowing that I "couldn't" copy the music back from my iPod (I was an iPod newb when this happened). I don't know if this works in Windows. I would guess not...
I also have an iBook and a T610. Its a very nice combination, but the T610 has one glaring omission that limits its use as a PDA: the contacts on the phone only support phone number and email address. No mailing address. That's pretty much a show-stopper for me. Browsing and displaying contacts on the phone is a PITA, too. Too many menus to go thru just to look at one contact.
So, I've ordered an HP iPaq 4355. I'll have to buy MissingSync to make it work with the iBook, but I'll be able to have a complete contacts list, and using Bluetooth to the T610, I'll have a portable terminal/email/web device (yay built-in keyboard) with which i can look up driving directions from anywhere and won't have to carry my ibook around all the time.
I'm aware that liking Microsoft products is not popular around here, but I actually prefer pocketpcs to palms, and the 4355 has some great features. Maybe linux will be ported to it one of these days... many iPaqs can run linux:)
When I added it to my cart, it qualified for free "super saver" shipping, or standard shipping for $7.58 or something.
The time to figure out what job you really want is when you're working at McDonald's.
Beer, beer. (Bier, bier?)
why do companies insist on believing that by denying access to the specs, they somehow gain an advantage?
The reason is that the ones with pointy hair are running the show and they don't really understand.
The TI-92 was released in 1995, which was 10 years ago.

from the site:
"This laser is not legal to use in public"
then they say:
"it makes for a great way to point out objects in the night sky"
Isn't that sort of thing usually done in PUBLIC? heh

The concept of a 'pr0n buddy' is disturbing on so many levels...

We need a "+0.5 Funny (Bathroom Humor)" moderation option.
