Well this comment really deserves to be answered using a Pogo to prove that YOU DO NOT need special pages written for it. I can view just as many pages as my Netscape 6 browser can.
To say that a browser is not a browser if it can't display CSS & XHTML, borders on being ludicrous.
Oh Yes! I'd forgotten about that. I spent much of my mis-spent youth on that game. One of the first multi-player experiences I had! Though I can't really remember making too many tracks.:-)
I preferred writting my own games in the basic supplied.
Whatever happened to typing in games listed in computer magazines??
..would be to release a free media player themselves. This would stop those thinking of getting a mod chip, just to see movies, from doing so. No mod chip = no playing backup software.

Isn't this constant barrage of news just exactly what SCO wants?
Anyone else see the irony in this.......
(sorry for replying to own post, damn submitbuttonitous)

Unless this has upwards of 128MB included then its just completely useless.
A non-stop feast for the senses. But not so much Kung-Fu.

Any particular reason this was posted by "Anonymous Coward"?
Maybe marketting@pocketpc.com a little too obvious?
How is this worse than any other ISP?
My ISP can log every move I make, read my emails... etc....
And I can pick up my existing emails via mail2pda.com
They are selling them for £50 ($70) - I traded in an old phone and walked out with one for £10!!!!!!!
(Of course I am tied to the provider for 12 months, buy hey)
They use this type of monitor because it has a composite connection. This is the easiest way of connecting the Xbox to a monitor.
I wonder why stories like this get published on all the news sites without ANYONE actually checking to see if they are true or not.
Of course.... More advertising revenue... Sorry my mistake.

Are they going to stop production of the Win32 version of Mame now too? (rhetorical question)
I would like to see on what grounds they stopped the port of Mame.
Well there's always a USB hard drive :-)
(kidding)
Really? In my country blank DVD-R's are are least 1/10 of the price of an original DVD movie :-p
"I've been looking into small form factor / silent pcs for playing DivXs, "
The Xbox is far from silent! The fan is quite noisy.
The GFX are not limited to 640x408. The Xbox has support for Widescreen and HDTV both of which have a higher resolution.
:-)
But well done for being the first to mention "BEOWULF cluster"
SVCDs are not limited to what a CDR can hold. Perfect if you burn onto a DVD-R

...I want a rubbermaid...
I guess only the very rich will be using XBox-Live in Australia then.
