anyone know of any open-source alternatives to advanced traffic logging systems like this? i've been using webalizer for years but there's gotta be something better by now.
and fully supports suse/fedora/mandrake. go novell! if you haven't used it , its an X11 app that runs as root (asks for password) and updates your RPM based system for you. you can even automate it. great fun.

The copyright/IP problems of today are similar. Downloading/duplicating content just isn't the same as stealing a candy bar and shouldn't be treated the same.

Think bigger. A million cars all over the globe with no gas isn't the big problem.
When oil is too costly to use as an energy source how are we going to make the metal to build the factoies that make medical supplies? How are we going to build cleaner (nuke?) power plants when we don't even have the resources to make the raw material?
And this would be all happening after the wars over oil rich land. The first obvious war over oil have already happened.
And the ability for them to even do this points out the legal system is, at least in some way, broken.

Although I'm sure it would run fine in windows as well.

before linux will hit the desktop we need a linux version of Windows Installer. RPM's don't handle dependancies!
