Anyways, OF COURSE it's NOT about hacking. He hasn't had the chance to hack anything in years. He couldn't use the internet until last week for Jiminey Crickets! Not to mention that the NAME OF THE BOOK is "The Art of Deception". Everyone who thought Kevin was going to deceive some buffers into overflowing with this book should be round up and shot with nerf munitions.

It might look like the dog is posing, but she can push and turn and actually skate down hills.
And since it's Slashdot I have to be picky and point out that the AIBO's skateboard has handle bars and is therefore some kind of scooter or hand-truck.
People who read lots of book, those that would see the greatest benefits of a portable reader, actually love books themselves! They like personal libraries, the weight of a good book in their hand, and honestly have some kind of tactile fixation with page turning. Most everyone but the geeky fifteen year-olds (god bless their hearts) mentioned in an article below are actually trying to get away from the monitor at the end of the day.
Not only is paper a beautiful medium, it's potential DPI far exceeds any monitor that I'd consider buying at this point, it only takes a moment to download from the bookshelf to the comfy chair, and you can leave it on during takeoff and landing.
I'm all ready to run down to the motherland and build a digital infrastructure for rich minorities and dictactors.
That way all the African 1337 can send emails to the rest of the world requesting help fighting real problems like AIDS instead of just sending snail mail and footage of poor dying children.
I guess there's just too many young aspiring diamond cutters in their private school system.
