The problem with all of these debates is that we are talking about encouraging or discouraging someone based soley on gender. As has been pointed out, even if most women were bad at math, there are always exceptions. Encourage individuals, not genders, races, religions, whatever.
Sprinting is based on the amount of fast twitch muscle you have, as opposed to slow twitch. You can train fast twitch to act like slow twitch muscle (ie make a sprinter into a distance runner) but you can't go the other way around. Now from what I have been told, the amount you have of each type is genetic. Why is it unreasonable to beleive that a certian race would have more fast twitch muscle then another? How is that any different then something like skin pigment?
Out of curiosity, have you ever seen a good analysis of how many legal positions there are in chess? I don't trust my grasp of combinatorics well enough to fell like I can come up with a good upwards bound, and I would be interested in knowing just how many legal positions there are.
With what? Yeah sure, we can make funny looking shower caps that can detect it, but in order for your idea to work you would have to show that there was some way for the human body to pick it up.

Gah. Why would the EVER treat Doom as being believable?!? It's a movie! It's supposed to be entertaining, not something I mistake for a news broadcast.
Was he riding his bike on the sidewalk? Everyone keeps talking about sidewalks... I dunno about NY but where I'm from that in itself is illegal. Bikes have to ride in the road.
