that certain people are unable to learn from their mistakes. I think this explains most people with bad credit, unable to hold down any decent job, or that get addicted to illicit drugs and/or alcohol, and never seem to learn from past mistakes to avoid making them in the future. I have known of some people who bad bad credit and recovered it later, who had a bad work history and were able to turn it around to get a good paying job, or who were able to give up addictions to drugs or alcohol and improve their lives.
Sadly most people effected by this inability to learn from their mistakes end up poor, or homeless, or in jail, or have a very bad life. They often blame others for their misfortunes, and I always thought that they kept making bad decisions because they didn't learn from previous bad decisions in order to avoid making bad decisions and start making good decisions. So they blame the government, they blame the wealthy, they blame authority figures, they blame people who make a good living, and anyone else they can.
So now it shows that it might not even be their fault, that they have a genetic disorder that prevents them from learning from their mistakes, and thus they are disabled with a mental illness, and need some medical help to get over this disorder. We need to do more research into it and learn what can be done to help these people out who are afflicted with this genetic disorder. Not just to help them out, but also to help out society and other people who are effected by people who are unable to learn from their mistakes and thus harm others as a result.
So you are saying that the code in OSX is older than the code in Windows?
Windows Vista is Microsoft attempt to rewrite parts of the OS, but I think it still has code that goes back to Windows NT and MS-DOS.
Mac OSX is based on *BSD Unix code, the Mach kernel, NextOS, and the classic Mac OS (or at least Carbon is based on it). I think Mac OSX was necessary because Classic Mac OS was heading to a dead-end and taking a Unix route was the best thing that Apple can do.
Still, Linux is older than OSX, but it doesn't seem to have the problems that Leopard has. Could it be that it also has to do with the way the OS is managed, or the way the OS development is managed? Like is Linus able to make better management decisions with Linux and the Linux kernel than Bill Gates or Steve Jobs does for their OS projects?
Such as downloading Linux distros and free and open source software.
Some musicians, such as Michael David Crawford release their music in free OGG format with an open source license that allows it to be spread by BitTorrent.
Not only that but Joost and Miro are video players that use P2P and BitTorrent to share videos that are also released into the public domain, open source, and free licenses.
Like I said there are 100% legal reasons for using BitTorrent and P2P filesharing networks. This will hurt the free and open source market more than it cuts down on piracy. It is like giving commercial licenses a free pass and filtering or blocking the free and open source licenses. Some people write articles and howtos via Legal Torrents to promote their web sites in a free or open source license, as well as help out the community.
Everyone knows that IBM uses Star Trek strategy and not Star Wars strategy. That is how OS/2 bombed despite having a "Star Trek" theme and name of OS/2 3.0 Warp.
Just make an OS/3 based on Linux and call it OS/3 1.0 Yoda. Modify WINE to run the OS/2 API into Linux as well. Make sure that all IBM Windows software works on WINE, and has Linux ports as well.
Instead OS/3 1.0 Yoda on every new IBM PC sold, and also port it to the Mainframe, iSeries, pSeries, etc systems as well.
Design Yoda to be so simple that Young Jedis can use it as well as the older adults with no computer knowledge at all.
Take the Firewall/AntiVirus protection and call it "The Force".
License OS/3 1.0 Yoda to other OEMs like Compaq, Dell, Gateway, ASUS, Acer, etc.
The PC has evolved over the years, the old definition of what a PC was is dead, there is a new definition of a PC in modern times that is very much alive.
#1 The Intel Mac is one of the new PC definitions as it uses PC technology now.
#2 The new Amiga standard will be based on PC technology as well.
#3 The new PC need not even run Windows, it can run Linux, *BSD Unix, or any other OS that runs on it.
#4 The PC is the new Hackintosh with the OSX X86 Project to run OSX on PC systems.
#5 The Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and Wii all use PC technology and are basically PCs by themselves if you add a keyboard and mouse to them.
#6 The iPhone and most modern cell phones are now like a PC anyway.
#7 PDAs and hand held computers are basically PCs now anyway.
#8 PCs can run emulators to run software for all different sorts of computer platforms and game consoles.
#9 PCs are used to develop software for many computer platforms.
#10 PCs can be used as dumb terminals or remote control access for any computer system.
Of course because Amiga One box owners just formatted and installed Yellowdog Linux instead of AmigaOS 4.0, right?
So take a Linux or BSD Unix distro, port the Amiga GUI over to it, port Amiga libraries over to it to support AmigaOS API calls, and call it AmigaOS 5.0, right?
#1 Develop X86 versions of it to run on PC systems. Use UAE to run the older 68K Amiga software on it.
#2 Develop PPC versions of it for the Amiga PPC, PowerMac, and CHRP hardware sets so people with older systems can run it as well.
#3 Get better development tools for it. Developers want to be able to write with more than C++, Python, Free Pascal, AREXX and legacy AmigaDOS tools. Get Novell to port the Mono Development system to AmigaOS 5, get Delphi ported, get RealBASIC and TrueBASIC ported, get Ruby, Perl, Smalltalk, XBASIC, GCC, and Java ported as well.
#4 Get software developers to write AmigaOS 5 ports of their popular software. Get OpenOffice.Org, StarOffice, Quicken, Turbo Tax, Photoshop, Lotus Smartsuite, etc ported.
#5 Get Blizzard, and other game makers to write AmigaOS 5 versions of their popular games.
#6 Get the F/OSS projects ported to AmigaOS 5, like Firefox, Thunderbird, Eurdora, GNUCash, Apache, CVS, The Gimp, etc ported.
#7 Port WINE to the AmigaOS 5 X86 version, and have it built in. Also work on the OSFree project to give the ability to run OS/2 programs. Also work with the Haiku OS project to run BeOS applications on AmigaOS 5. This way you can run software written for Windows, OS/2, and BeOS on one OS, a feat never before done.
#8 Port NDIS Wrapper to use Windows drivers for AmigaOS 5, in case we cannot find any native Windows drivers. Also allow Linux, FreeBSD, and Mac OSX drivers to work as well.
#9 Work in parallel with the Amiga Research OS that AmigaOS 3.5 was based on, so that they can give AROS AmigaOS 5.0 features.
#10 Get Virtual Machines ported to AmigaOS 5.0 like VMWare, Bochs, QEMU, Parallels, etc. Also get emulators ported like MAME, MESS, VICE, UAE, Stella, ZNES, SNES, Virtual Gameboy Advance, Basilisk II, VMac, ported to the Amiga OS 5 system.
Windows XP will last five years after Microsoft cuts off support for it.
Windows Vista will die within five years.
By then, I hope that ReactOS is finished or at least in beta status to compete with the bloated, buggy, and security flawed Microsoft Windows Whatever Microsoft releases next after Vista.
Linux is used in cell phones that only have Windows based software to access features on them.
Many PC makers use Linux for their web servers, but refuse to support Linux on their desktop PCs.
Tivo uses Linux, but the software to allow your PC to communicate with your Tivo box is Windows only.
Many video game Internet servers run Linux, but the games that connect to those servers are written for Windows only. Sometimes the Mac users get lucky and there is an OSX port, but not always.
PLC and PIC controllers run Linux, but the software to access and program them is Windows only.
Many PDAs like the Palm series run Linux now, but the software is only written for Windows or Mac OSX, and the Linux port was reversed engineered and not supported by Palm and written by open source hackers.
George W. Bush was playing Civilization II when he got the idea to invade Iraq for the Oil and resources and gain a lot of gold. So Jack Thompson wants George W. Bush to testify under oath that he did play Civilization II on his PC before or after he held office. Jack Thompson will claim that this is the way the Civilization II game is played, to invade other nations for the gold.
He might as well subpoena Bill Gates, and accuse him of playing the Monopoly video game for DOS or the Apple//, before deciding to bundle MS-Office, Internet Explorer, and Media Player with Windows installed on each new PC sold by PC Vendors. The object in the Monopoly video game, claims Jack Thompson, is to own property and bundle them together to lock out competitors and raise the prices in order to become the richest person in the game.
You can't fight DRM because the RIAA and MPAA are too strong and the DMCA law enforces DRM on us.
I am tired of using Linux and not being able to listen to audio or watch video clips because the web site uses DRM methods that the Linux media players do not support. It would be easier to write a DRM compliant media player for Linux than to change the law that enforces DRM on everyone.
Why not Mozilla? OpenOffice.Org is almost mostly Java based. I'd like to see a 100% native code alternative to MS-Office available for Linux and other platforms that can use ODF, OOXML, MS-Office, WordPerfect, RTF, etc file formats. I think that Thunderbird already has a good editing system and we can take the core of Thunderbird and turn it into ThunderWord or something and then allow ThunderWord extensions to be written for it Mozilla style. Then ThunderCalc for Spreadsheet, ThunderPoint for Presentation, ThunderBase for Database, bundle them with ThunderBird and call it ThunderOffice or something.

I'd also give Mozilla seed money to write open source versions of Word processors, Spreadsheets, Presentation Software, and other Office software for Linux and multiple platforms that can use the MS-Office file formats, as well as open source file formats. The Mozilla code has an HTML editor that can be the basis for a good Word processor. It can also be used to tweak it into a spreadsheet and presentation software.
If I had millions more to spend, I'd give money to the OSFree project to get OS/2 applications to run under Linux, the Haiku OS project to get BeOS applications to run under Linux, the Amiga Research OS project to get AmigaDOS/AmigaOS applications to run under Linux, and I would fund money into a project to make an application to translate OSX API calls to Linux ones, so Linux can run OSX applications. Then Linux would be able to run almost any software from almost any OS platform, and people won't be able to complain of a lack of applications for Linux.

By the way, Macs spelled backwards is Scam. That is the truth of Macs and video games.
Mac OSX only runs on Macs, Ubuntu runs on almost every X86 PC out there. I even think there is a PPC port of Ubuntu to run on the old PowerMacs. They are both written for two different markets.

which is why some theories get the official liberal stamp of approval on them. Those that don't get the stamp are rejected by liberals. This is why modern science has many failings and why it has become political. It is also why moderates and conservatives often reject theories that have the liberal stamp of approval on them, because they are not true natural science theories but more political science theories. Many so called global warming scientists, for example, hold PHDs in political science and not natural science.
I would hope the rest of the world cares enough that liberals have polluted our sciences with junk science and crackpot theories. Modern science has become yet another religion that liberals believe in, global warming is now a religion and Al Gore is the Pope of global warming. Just like the Church of England had a scam to have people pay money to have sins forgiven to go to Heaven, global warming has the same scam, pay for your sins to be forgiven by buying carbon credits. Only who knows where the money used to buy carbon credits really goes, because it isn't regulated or accounted for anyway.
If the liberals have their way, this will become a Nanny State or a Prison Nation in that we are told what to eat, how to behave, and how to act.
The Surgeon General has released statements that use fear to control people's eating habits, buying habits, behavior and actions. He uses fear to control people in the same way that a terrorist uses fear. He takes money from companies that want him to make statements that use fear to control people to buy their products. In this case the Surgeon General took money from the pro-global warming lobbyists so that he can release statements that force people to buy carbon credits and use products that the pro-global warming companies and organizations sell. In this way global warming is a scam. Global warming is a new religion spawned from liberals in order to control people with it and eventually control the world. Releasing CO2 into the atmosphere is a sin, but can be forgiven by buying carbon credits.
Soon, people won't be able to have the freedom to decide for themselves anymore, and will have organizations run by liberals telling them what to do. Everyone should have the freedom to choose how to live their lives and what they should do. Let us end this tyranny that the Surgeon General, PETA, etc have on the lives of many people that force them how to decide using scare tactics. Let us give back the freedom to decide for themselves to the people again once more!

How do we know this isn't some plot by Microsoft to murder open source one developer at a time?
for security reasons? How would you use Adobe software on a desktop with no Network access?
Some people like to do work on a computer that is not tied to other computers, and then burn CDs or DVDs and move the works to other computers later.

Don't bother. Showing them real evidence and proof will only confuse the liberals.
They only accept "junk" science that has been stamped with an official liberal seal.
